Thanks for your review. Good shooting. I purchased the SAR Arms B6C compact one week ago. After a week of use double-action and single-action trigger pulls have eased and smooth out considerably. I can say the same for the safety. I cleaned the pistol as soon as I brought it home and paid close attention to the safety. The safety operates smoothly for me as well. This pistol has grown on me and I'm comfortable using it for EDC.

I've owned mine for a year now , very satisfied with it. Mags , I bought a couple of extras for I think $24 each , EAA ones through the site I purchased mine through . ( paid $269 plus shipping and FFL fee ) But you can purchase Meg-Gar CZ-75 B ( B only ) for around $25 , 19 Rd for $29 . I've put approximately 500 rounds through it , and it has handled everything from lead cast reloads through wide mouth hollow points ( HST' s and GoldDots) with zero ffl's .

I have had mine for almost 2 years, and absolutely LOVE mine. You can order mags from EAA, but they are a little pricey. BUT, it feeds a Mecgar CZ75B mag just fine.

EAA stopped importing SAR Pistols about 3 years ago. SAR (Sarsilmaz) now imports all of its products through its own wholly-owned U.S. Subsidiary ("SAR USA"), located in Auburn, Alabama. The Stiff Recoil Spring eventually breaks in. It is one of the Best Values on the Market for about the same price as a Taurus G3c (With much higher Quality). The SAR B6P current comes with 2 Mags now & are completely compatible with CZ 75 Mags. They're selling right now (September 7, 2021) between $279-$309 (Depending on which model).

I used mine on a defensive shooting course, where it handled superbly. Under stress, I did knock the safety on, on more than a few occasions, but otherwise it handled without a hiccup. The manual said not to feed +P through it but I've been told that only a regular diet of the +Ps will eventually rattle the gun loose somewhat. I am lucky to have a powerful grip, so I wasn't stymied by the reduced ribbed area on the slide. I have already designed and about to prototype a drop-on 'grip increaser' - which doubles the area already present. I would like some more daylight between the front and rear sight, which can be achieved by some careful filing, or new sights. ALL someone needs to do is a film how to completely dismantle the B6P - the manual is woefully inadequate. As a design engineer, I checked the entire gun for special features that would assist a complete take-down, but there was nothing to show. Naturally, banging away at the several roll-pins through the frame cannot be lightly undertaken with the chance of damaging the internals. There is also nothing on the internet about this, so if there is someone out there who can shed light on this matter, please holler. Thanks in advance.

I took a range finder shot at 8 ft /10ft/ 15ft/ 20ft/& 25ft hit the bulls eye every time a Excellent fiearm 13 rounds 1 in the pipe and 12 in the magazine under $350. There are alot of nice 9mm as for the safety you have to oil it and keep locking and unlocking it and everything will work fine

Just google the mags and you will be able to find them they are back in stock at grab a gun last time I checked. I own 2 k2s and love them both. Also you can use p14 mags in the k2 it just wont hold the slide back on an empty magazine.
@greasemonkey2586 жыл бұрын
I've had two of these, they're good in my opinion. The bore axis is low because it's a slide in frame design (they can be hard to rack the slide because of this) very, very accurate, mine were reliable and a carried gold dot in them. They are DA/SA and can be carried hammer down, it's safe because of the floating firing pin BUT they do not have a decocker so you must be careful letting the hammer down... They can also be carried cocked and locked safely, the absolute biggest issue is the magazines are impossible to find. For someone who doesn't shoot a ton and carries all the time it's great, but when the mag wears out you have a big task finding a replacement.

Enjoyable and honest review. Bought one today took it to the NRA (hey that rhymes). 100 rnds. Winchester 115 grn. Almost couldn't believe the accuracy coring it out @ 7 yds.! Very low recoil, sight alignment good and tight. Both the trigger and safety should break in in time. For larger hands especially with gloves on is perfect. I like the full size once again...am tired of sloppy trigger safety's and compacts (although the S+W shield 40 Comp. is my EDC [no safety]). Am quite pleased and the CZ 75 mags. even by Meg Gar work great, need a few more. Placing thumb on grip riding the serial # could be an issue for some but so what...and the stamping on frame so what. The gun functions quite well this isn't a beauty show. Just need a good holster now. Good promo ON TARGET

Continuing my last comments. With the utter and total lack of ANY information re. total take-down of the B6P, I set myself down with the correct tools and supporting items. Small screwdrivers, drill vice, tweezers, small collecting trays, etc. I would strongly suggest that you take detailed and close-up photographs of small items, like springs, etc. which are notoriously easy to re-fit incorrectly. First of all - the B6P uses roll pins nearly throughout its construction. They are far from ideal but they reduce manufacturing costs. They are also quite challenging to remove unless you have the absolute correct punches to drive them out. They don't come out easy, either - so be prepared for this. The springs are equally challenging to put back. I suggest to use the vice to support the pistol and use home-made, 'temporary' short pins to trap the spring (with the trigger bar and front captive block) and once in position, this pin is then driven out by the standard pin. The above is merely the tip of the iceberg and the total time take for disassembly, trigger job- and re-assembly was about three hours +. Much time was spent in thinking how to achieve success without the loss of springs and patience - or both! Ultimately, I am in a better position next time. For the sake of other B6P owners, I implore that a camera & presentation savvy shooter puts together a little film in just HOW to achieve the above. Everyone has had enough of half-ass*d, badly lit, badly presented films, where the guy treats his guns as if they are toys, and litters his dialogue with profanities, thinking its fun, macho or both. If anyone has a question, please do not hesitate to ask me. Happy to assist.

The only thing I can think of as a negative for the slide inside the frame is grabbing the slide in a stressful situation. Certainly the CZ 75 (which has the same slide) has been around for a long time which could indicate it is a good platform. If you are really stressed you lose the ability to do fine motor skills. I suppose it is possible the more exposed slide "outside" of the frame gives you more to grab to operate the pistol if needed under stress.

Guns and Gear & On Target Training, LLC Good point indeed as the standard spec definition for the NATO round I found is: "9mm 124 gr NATO rounds are loaded to higher pressures, have higher muzzle velocities, and have a higher muzzle energy than commercial 9mm 124 gr rounds have. It should be treated similar to a +P round and not be used in handguns that are not designed for higher pressures." That would seem to confirm your point speaking to the apparent contradiction...?

For a gun much criticized for not having a de-cocker, you said NOTHING about how to de-cock the gun -- which, IMO, is more important than DA/SA tests. you seem concerned about the slide riding inside , thing is you should be happy about that aspect as it lends to accuracy because its a complete line of contact whereas if it was an external slide it would only have interment points of contact lessening accuracy ...... other things ... the gun needs cleaned and lubed prior to using the trigger is immediately better ( and the safety too ) as soon as it is cleaned and lubed ... use gets it even more smooth ... happy owner of the B6P and the B6P compact ... ( nothing wrong with 3 inch groups ) in a combat situation center mass should always be the targeted area and with a pie plate kill zone size 3 inch groups is very acceptable ....lack of a decocker is NOT a big deal ......... this gun simply does not fail ( so who gives a crap about advertizement logos , nobody see's them in the holster and if it comes out they are not trying to read them ) bottom line if you want a gun that will work when you need it to and be accurate all while not breaking the bank .. this gun can be found new for right around $300 ....... next time try and review the fact of how well it works and not be a snob about the aesthetics because at the end of the day functionality trumps all

***** Sir, thanks for watching and for commenting. I agree with much of what you addressed in your comments. Please understand I share my opinions which are only that. My opinions are not anything more or less. I advocate each shooter decided on what works for them. I am agnostic on brand and caliber. If you watch the shooting review I think you'll see I was favorably impressed. I agree for $300 it's a solid option. I agree that a decocker is not critical assuming you're properly trained. Regrettably too many people buy guns and never train to a level of proficiency that would serve them from a personal protection standpoint. You clearly understand the manual of arms with this handgun and with your experience not having a decocker is a non issue. As you noted the gun is capable of good combat accuracy and was reliable for our tests. Thanks again for commenting and sharing your insights with us! Best Regards, and stay safe.
