I made this mix to show all people why Michael Jordan was ,is and will be considered as the greatest basketball player when it count ....in Playoffs time !!!
The first part of the mix shows the road for the first three peat in post seasons (1991 - 1992 - 1993) and the second part the reapeat of the three peat (1996 - 1997 - 1998) ....THE FINALS FOOTAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED. ( just R1 - R2 & CF during 6 years ).
MJ was beautiful to watch ..... he had a wonderfull technique and all the trics defensivly and offensivly to beat any opponent.
Quicker , stronger and smarter when it count he elevated the game to another level in Playoffs .
Enjoy the 12 minutes of beauty , talent, créativity and motivation in slow motion.... simply the GOD OF PLAYOFFS.

He was simply a nightmare to guard. His combination of physical skills, high basketball IQ, mental toughness, ability to adapt, competitiveness and a will made of iron made him the greatest. There's a reason why everyone compares the next greatest player to MJ. He's the standard by which all are measured.

I remember all the stuff about 'witness' Lebron. If you were alive in the nineties, then you know that we all already 'witnessed'. Lebron's not in the conversation with Jordan. You know that game winning shot in game 1 of the cavs/warriors finals that Lebron missed? That shot that he missed... the game goes to overtime... and kyrie breaks his kneecap? Jordan would've made the shot. They would have won game 1. Kyrie and Jordan would've carried the cavs to the championship. And Steph Curry and the warriors would've just shook their heads just like Barkley did, just like Stockton and Malone did. That's the difference between Jordan and Lebron.

Wow. I can never watch enough of Jordan's dominance. As a Chicago fan, I got to watch almost all of his games in his career. What a treat. I saw his whole career. This is also why I laugh out loud every time I hear a Kobe or Lebron comparison. Those are definitely the best players of their eras, but Jordan was just on a level people can't comprehend. Think of all the legends that Jordan had to go through for his titles, and how good those teams were. Magic, Barkley, Clyde, Payton, Kemp, Malone, Stockton, Reggie, Isaiah, Shaq, Penny, Mourning, Ewing. He didn't team up with them and create a super team. He wanted to beat them all to show how great he is. Not only was Jordan a physical freak of nature, but he was the most skilled player in history. He had no flaws. Out of college, scouting report on Jordan was to make him shoot. But he perfected his shooting. He actually became quite the sharpshooter in the latter parts of his career. And his competitiveness was probably the attribute that contributed the most to his titles. He was a psychopath that was obsessed with winning. One of the most beautiful things in all of sports was when Jordan got hot and took over a game. Never seen anything like it. There is literally nothing that can be done to stop it. He could be having an ok game by the end of the 3rd. Get hot in the 4th and end the game with a win and 50 points. If he hadn't retired, and Bulls management kept the team together, I really do wonder if they would've ran the table in the 90's.

Michael "his Airness" Jordan. What else can be said? Forget about God of basketball...God of sport, period. And by the way, if you watch a playoffs game today and right after, you watch a playoffs game from the 90's or 80's, today's playoffs will look like a practice session in terms of intensity, defense and physicality. It's...it's crazy. It was just another level of basketball.

You look back 20 years from now and Jordan is still the greatest you have ever seen, you look back another 20 years before Jordan and Jordan is still the greatest you have ever seen. Looking forward from now 20 years, wonder if Jordans Legacy will remain, because honestly, none of the superstars of today even come close to the high level that Jordan performed at regularly. Some have put in great performances during a game, or over a season or over a playoff run, but none have done it all across the board for their entire careers like Jordan did.

Michael should go on Dancing with the Stars because his footwork is impeccable!!!!!!! This is a 12 minute video with all kinds of highlights and I didn't see one travel, double dribble, crab dribble, etc. Look through the 'highlights' of some of today's stars and you see nothing but traveling and carrying violations. So many fans focus on what MJ did above the rim and in the air; however, in my opinion, it was just as much about, if not more so, what he did on the ground. His footwork was flawless!!! Although he has some crossovers in this video, many times he beats the defender with a quick first step or jab step or a quick spin move--all good fundamentals moves. Kobe was smart to copy MJ's footwork and moves!

why jordan is great? set aside the facts that he's a champion, when jordan played he didn't fear anybody, he has no doubts if you watch his interviews it seems as if no one else really bothers him at all he may say great things about his opponents but he's never really feared anyone it's the other way around just being on the floor with michael and playing against him is already intimidating even more so when he handles and shoots the ball. the will to win, killer instinct, the fearlessness it's what makes him the most superior basketball player set aside the championships and the air jordan he's just too intimidating to play with.

bledredwine this is what the NBA is missing right now, in my personal opinion the game is too easy, the defense is almost irrelevant, sure they make spectacular blocks and there's some good defensive pressure, but it isn't the same. Like Hubie says, if teams run good sets in todays nba like they did in Jordans day and prior, scoring is just too easy. I rather see a tough competitive game at both ends, than see who can produce the best offensive night.

What?? Dude, during the playoffs, the Heat constantly doubled and trapped Rose. In Kobe's time, he was doubled all of the time because when you have an offensive force that unstoppable, you must get the ball out of his hands.

I think 97-98 is definitely Jordan's most underrated year. Personally I'd have to pick 1992 Jordan if I could go back in time and pick one year. However, 97-98 his fundamentals and footwork were just insane. He was just one step ahead of everyone mentally that year.

SandersRobin24 Yeah 97-98 was amazing. Mike was running on fumes, coming of 2 straight finals, at age 35. His team suffered some key injuries (Pippen missed half the season and was never the same). MJ himself played the whole year with an injured hand, that really affected his shooting. That year was truly a testament of MJs greatness and desire to win. It truly is an underrated year for Jordan, as you say.

Rafael Mertin Individually, not accounting stats, which can be misleading, my favorite version of MJ, was from the 91-92 season. He was stronger than in 90-91, and more athletic than in 92-93. His midrange game was peaking at that point, and he was still penetrating like crazy. And he was trusting his teamates more than ever before, and wasnt trying to drop 35 every game, the game seamed to easy for his at that point. But its the perfect balance between driving to the hoop and his mid-range game along with glimpses of his outstanding post game, that make the 91-92 season MJ, my favorite ever.
@musicsdarkangel
@musicsdarkangel 9 жыл бұрын
SandersRobin24 I agree. I always wonder what would happen if you gave MJ his incredible smarts/footwork from 97 and on in his prime years… it would be simply unbelievable. Anyway, I take 1992 MJ as well, though late 80's MJ's defense was ridiculous. Young MJ was the best inside game we have ever seen, but what people don't realize now is that later MJ is the best midrange we've ever seen. That's amazing to have both.

Jordan was Baryshnikov in the air and mentally light years ahead of his competition. LeBron plays like a bull in a china shop bull dozing and trying to overpower his opponent, throwing his shoulder into opponents in the post, steamrolling to the basket(nothing wrong with it) but clutch?, not so much and what a cry baby! What Jordan lacked in size and strength he more than made up for with his clutch shooting, defense, iq, finesse, and overall will to win. Jordan made Pippen, Grant, Paxson, Kukoc, Longley, Perdue, King, Williams, Cartwright, Kerr etc better players, and clutch heroes willing to pass to them with the game on the line, not to mention his own ability to to take over a game or hit the final shot. Will there eventually be a better player? Of course there will, but for a 6'6 skinny guard to completely dominate the game, turn it into a global past time, and turn b-ball players into marketing giants, no one has eclipsed Jordan yet! Not Kobe, Duncan, Lebron, no one. If you want to bring up Wilt, or Russell, hello 7'0 centers that were freakishly athletic, they should have dominated the majority of scrubs they played against! MJ=GOAT!

Frankly I dont even know why there is a conversation about Lebron Vs MJ. Lebron is a legend in his own right, yes. He may be stronger, faster than MJ, but he doesn't have the intensity and killer instinct of MJ. Show me a Lebron that won't wilt in the face of the incredibly nasty 90s Pistons and Knicks, show me a Lebron that can will his team to victory in a Finals game, and I'll concede that he is better than MJ. Otherwise, if I had pick either in their prime to be on my team, it's a no-brainer. MJ all-day any day.

jjcoolboyify Lebron was not the sole reason that the Cavs had a decrease from 61 to 19 wins. In the first season without LeBron, Mo Williams, Jamison, and Varejao all dealt with injury for large portions of the season. Shaq and Ilgauskus both left the team, and they brought in a new coach. The Cavs had a top 10 defense every year from 06/07 to 09/10 and fell to a top 10 worst defense in 2011 with all of the injuries, players leaving, and coaching change. Only casual basketball fans or Letards use this season as an excuse. Funny how people like you don't mention his teams with the Cavs were getting top seeded positions for many seasons but they only got to the conference finals 3 times. There was one year where the Cavs were number 1 seed and they didn't even make it past second round. Competition was so weak. The fact that he had the teams with the potential to reach the finals multiple times with the Cavs is evidence that this era is weak especially the eastern conference. Despite the odds, they were underachieving for many seasons and Letards wanna compare his teams with MJ's teams even though they're from a tougher and whole different era, to make it look like Lebron didn't have the teams to compete. If Lebron even had Rodman (from 2nd 3peat) as his team-mate, you can literally delete 90% of his triple-double nights and a good chunk of double-double performances. We're not even gonna talk about prime Rodman.LJ could only manage 8 rebounds a game despite playing a lot of minutes at the 4 spot and along-side next best rebounder on team Christina Bosh. BTW for MJ, whenever his team was top seeded positions, he made it to the finals and won all of them.
@jxhnine2863
@jxhnine2863 9 жыл бұрын
Rebounding? Nigga couldn't average more than 8 rebounds playing along-side best or next best rebounder in the team, Chris Bosh despite playing power and small forward for the most part rotating positions with Bosh and Wade. You think he would even average 6 rebounds, playing guard along-side Grant/Rodman, Pippen and some average 7 foot center from 80/90s? And don't forget Jordan wasn't just the first option by far, he had so much responsibility on the offense to the point that, he actually backed down more people in the post than the rest of his team combined. You can't be your team's best rebounder, defender and scorer and passer at the same time always if you're always expect to create and make shots. Top it off, he was fading away very often and majority of his shots were from the midrange. All that contributes to the fact that he couldn't average more rebounds and he can't play great defense at all times. Phil wouldn't want him guarding the opponents best players all the time and expect him to be 100% on offense and constantly going into the paint to box out when he is a freaking guard first (expected to be first line of defense on transition). Look at his team mates on top of the structure and dynamics of his team, and the fact that the average FG% were higher, it's quite ridiculous he could even average 6 rebounds.

MJ has 40+ REAL playoff and Finals records - not some made up nonsense by ESPN like "best game 7 scorer ever". He is first in ppg, PER, Winshares in the playoffs and the list goes on. The next person on that list is Bill Russell with 15 records - that's more than 25 records less. LBJ has less than 10. Please stop with the nonsense comparisons between MJ and LBJ as there is none. Note - MJ set all these records and stats in a much harder era to score in - there simply is no comparison. Anybody can score 30 today. You look at the scoring averages of today's players and the superstars of MJ's era and today's players have ridiculously higher numbers while being smaller and quite frankly, not as good. This is the result of much softer conditions with were intentionally set by the NBA to create a scoring type of game. And MJ still has the highest numbers ever. Imagine what he would do playing in today's conditions? Today's rules were created to help perimeter players do what MJ did without these special rules - he would be unstoppable, period!

Bonzi wells, Quentin Richardson, cuttino mobley use to kill Kobe on the offensive end. Kobe defense was disguised because they'd always put him on smaller weak guards to make him look good. Damon stoudamire, Eric snow. He never guarded guys like tmac, Vince, Ray Allen. Paul pierce. It was always Rick fox with the tough defensive assignment

Prime Kobe had no flaws... He just chose to take stupid shots and lapse occasionally on defense... But there was nothing he couldn't do... 25 y/o Mike is pretty much equal to 25 y/o Kobe... The biggest difference was Mike's ability to trust in and galvanize his teammates when he needed to... Kobe was pretty selfish at times and his efficiency suffered because of it... Plus you can never really be better than the person you copy... But on a video game you'd have to put them both at 99 lol...

Michael Jordan is Incomparable. If Michael is not hitting his shots he will still continue to play aggressively, while Lebron on the other hand will become tentative and defer to Kyrie. When Lebanon is not shooting well he deflates and becomes insecure about his shooting, while Michael will still had that look of determination. Michael is the lion, and Lebanon is the Hyena. Jordan's midrange games is far superior to Lebron's. He had many more variety of midrange and fancy rim moves. Lebanon loves to hang out at the perimeter or attack the basket.

Youngbloods are salty nowadays, You keep lookin on MJ's Game and you will see no holes in his offensive and defensive game. his accolades, highlights will be forever immortalized in time, He revolutionized the game, He took shots most players are afraid to take, and his competitive fire, Kobe on the other hand has the will and heart that MJ has, But not on the hangtime dept, Same with Kawhi. I rarely see players that tryna be MJ and these players i mentioned have it. The reason why i watch NBA was Kawhi the midrange mastery and post game are a beautiful thing to watch.
