Neopaganism is modern versions of antient paths that incorporate modern sensibilities or concepts and usually has syncretism (Neopagans having "patron god" for example is derived form the "Patron Saint" concept). It being JUST Celt or Egyptian isn't correct. Also, there are other kinds of paganism as well. Mesopaganism, Paleopaganism, Reconstructionist... And yes, Wicca is Neopagan. The reason they see the Abrahamic religions as oppressing people because the Abrahamic religions have a LONG history of doing that very thing. That's why. "Magic" is a force or focus of energy not yet explained by science. It's no different than prayer. There is no black/white magic, it's intent that matters. And the "Do what thou will..." is along the lines of what someone wills to happen. Not just do what ever you want. Also, the 3 fold law is a modern idea that was a product of syncretism, derived from Hindu (a weird version of Karma). Spoiler, most pagans of all stripes do believe Jesus and Yahweh exist, just not as advertised. Yeah, that thing about the election.... those were people who didn't know what they were doing. The church has its fair share of nut jobs, so do pagans. And before the 1800s, homosexuality wasn't even a thing.... Learning different philosophies expands the mind. And learning about other beliefs and cultures is HIGHLY beneficial. The left defends marginalized groups, not necessarily their points of view. The image of the "devil" with horns and all that is relatively modern. There is absolutely objective morals in paganism. The lunar calendar has been used since antient times. By multiple religions. Nothing new. Equinox is Spring and Fall. Solstice is Summer and Winter. Ba'al was a title, not a name. Ashura is not the Triple Goddess. That's very much wrong. Asherah is a goddess in the ancient Semitic religion of the Canaanites. Consort to El Shaddai. Who was the father of Yahweh. Different religion that has 0 connection to Neopaganism. 0. Sorry, you are very much wrong here. Wicca is FULL of syncretism. The life force is the spirit. Spirit is made of energy. Yes, people worship Odin..... It's called polytheism. Which is based off of animism, which even Christians use. Not necessarily anti-authority. Anti-authoritarian doesn't mean what you think it means. No, the opposite of secularism is theocracy, not monarchy. Neopaganism doesn't say anyone is a god. That's the Church of Satan, and they say it metaphorically.... Demonic..... from Latin daemon, from Greek daimōn ‘deity'. So there's that. Secondly, read Psalm 82. Not believing that deity exists but viewing it as an archetype is atheism with esthetics. Nothing more. Jordan Peterson isn't reliable at all. Animism is the an antient based system. Animism is the attribution of a soul to plants, inanimate objects, and natural phenomena. As far as trees, science has proven they are alive and communicate. Things like hospitality, acceptance of the marginalized/foreigner, helping the poor... taught by pagans for thousands of years. Not as ground breaking as people think. Of course he existed. As an apocalyptic preacher of the Essenes (hence the animosity form the Pharisee). There are 0 contemporary writings of him. All of it is after the fact, sometimes by a wide margin. Jesus was a nice guy sure. He also flipped tables and whipped people. I would suggest learning of the different kinds of paganism. Bringing a pagan onto your show. Not just some no name teen. People like Ocean Keloti, the guy than runs Norse Magic and Beliefs.... The more emotional, erratic, reactionary they are, they are not in a place for you to talk to them. Calm, collected, learned, educated... You'll learn more from there.

I once had a warlock tell me warlocks, witches and wizards are high magic, because of the rituals involved and Wiccans and similar sects are low magic. He said it is similar to the high Church and the Low church. This was a very interesting series guys. Thank you for the great discussion! I can see how taking the time to grow in understanding, and not relying on assumptions, while standing firm in the gospel, displaying kindness and love would point to Christ on a much greater level than preaching or witness out of a context they wouldn't understand or be aversive toward.

I was neo pagan for 20 years. I returned to Christ. I will say I made great friends in NeoPagan circles. ( I have never made a friend in church. Sorry but Christians don’t make very good friends, I’ve found.) It was fun and the people for the most part were great fun. There were pockets of sexually manipulative men (and women) but they were open and avoidable, 15 years ago or so. That could be changing as the NeoPagan circles become increasingly post Christian. I found there was a lack of scholarship and lax attitude towards ethics. Organization would always fall through or rely on a strong personality to keep a group together. Groups would form, dissolve and reform fairly fluidly. And individuals would move from one TYPE of spiritual group to another or belong to several different groups at the same time. People related intuitively and poetically.

Really good question. Ok, I'm gonna give my thoughts. Jesus cursed the fig tree by the supernatural power of the God head. ( Being part of The Creator, "Trinity" only He, as God can do.) We use the term " magic" to try to explain a supernatural occurance or power. Any power that is not of the Holy Spirit is forbidden by God. To use any other force that is not of YHWH, the individual is practicing a form of idolitry. With the practice of magic comes the worship of other dietys. Practicing " magic" is Spiritual Adultery. Ok, I have a question for you. Why is YHWH " The Most High."

Wicca can be fairly critiqued and, at the same time, not unfairly maligned. Christians should not exaggerate, lie, or create fantasies to awfulize Wiccans. This was pretty good; I might suggest that one might have a different approach for witnessing to a female Neopagan vs a male because their reasoning may include a whole lot of oppression at the hands of men, which led them to a belief with what they perceive as more equality. An amazing resource about Neopaganism is “Dancing Down the Moon” by Margot Adler. It details the origins of many of the different sects of Neopaganism.

It's good to try and know about other false religions, cults, and occults. As we can be more prepared to bring up things in Scripture. However, it's not always necessary when evangelizing. It's extremely important though, to know the Good News. And a good thing to do is, ask them what they believe first and let them talk about it. Which builds connection and trust. After hearing them out, then go in with the Good News! Ray, Comfort, when he witnesses to people of other beliefs, is really good at this.

I like Derek Princes'definition of witchcraft --a work of the flesh to achieve a spiritual result. This broader definition allows you to then see how a variety of ungodly practices (but sometimes seemingly harmless) interact with the spiritual world and in turn influence us back. Certain worship music which is intended to ineliciting a fleshly response in us to coerce us into feeling something more is literally witchcraft. Being obsessed with your own personal health is a form of idolatry so taking supplements or exercising or doing certain ritualistic acts of self-discipline then become witchcraft because we are trying to achieve health and healing through works of the flesh and not through God. Taking certain medications or having certain surgical procedures if they harm you in a different way but heal you in another area can be witchcraft. Chiropractic and functional medicine doctors oftentimes practice witchcraft and don't even know it. Regular MD doctors definitely practice witchcraft and sorcery and don't even know it--They just think they're doing it from a scientific perspective when in actuality it's no different than a witch doctor or an alchemist been very often they think that they are the healer--they don't give God the glory.

Romans 1:27 is not referring to Eunchs where one partner is transgender. Mathew 19:12 says God PREFERS same sex relationships for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. Eunuchs made that way by others were abused. Those choose to live like Eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex but opposite in gender. Male or female is determined by gender located in the brain. Anyone teaching the LIE of monetary tithing or selling the gospel in any way is now blacked out from the Holy Spirit. Great Tribulation began Sept. 1. It's for all unrepentant evil people. All judges put innocent people in jail. Police officers and politicians - blacked out too. Evil people will remain blacked out until they repent or wait too late and die w the wicked. The thieving ministers must all return the money. I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and that means any discrepancies in the bible are decided by me. Malachi 2 proves Malachi 3:8-12 is talking to the thieving ministers. It's prophetic instruction for them to return thr money and God will end Covid. Anyone working for "Christian" schools - blacked out too. Worship groups selling songs, you got it, blacked out. Good question. My opinion is that it's probably not the best thing to watch because it literally glorifies paganism and sorcery. It also indoctrinates kids to think that's okay. I wouldn't say it's outright sinful for a Christian to watch though. Perhaps a matter of conscience? Always take it to God in prayer. He will tell you if you ask.

It's very bad, a high satanist in the UK said its been the best thing that ever happened to Satanism because so many youth became interested in their stuff. I also once cast a demon out of someone who used to be deeply involved in it (not saying that you will get one as soon as you read one of the books - I also read them when I was young and didn't know what I was doing). People say its just fiction but it's not, there is real magic and real spells in it. Stay away from it, the Lord hates all witchcraft, and surely doesn't want you to sit back on your couch and enjoy watching something he outright condemns.

From a literary perspective, the works are masterpieces. J.K. Rawlings was a great writer; but this is not a biblical measurement of good/evil. I've read 4 of the books and looked at the cliff notes on the others. They indirectly teach doctrines of demons. For example: the books teach that discovering "magical (demonic) powers" make you special over the rest of the "muggles" (non magickal folk)- making exploration of the occult desirable for youth and teens in the issue of identity. This blatantly contradicts the biblical teaching that we are special and incredibly valuable because we are uniquely created in God's image and because Jesus went to the cross for us. Satan's top temptations against Jesus in Matthew 4 and Luke 4 centered around identity. The harvest 20 years later is an explosive growth of witchcraft and the occult that scripture forbids- where it is now considered mainstream in the culture.

So far I’m only on the 17 minute mark. But I wanted to comment on something regarding CRT and our current political sphere. I notice how many of this BLM and CRT activism promotes ancient African ancestral worship. Ironically I also see this in Latin American community. I’m Mexican and I’ve spoken to many of my Latino peers where they argue that Roman Catholicism was oppressive to Latinos and therefore they should worship Aztec or other Amerindian gods. This is pretty common with Chicano studies who promote the same politics as BLM. Another political movement is Feminism who coincidentally attempt to promote Paganism from Europe but is funny that this is even happening with some Neo Nazi right wing groups. While many appreciate the strength of Europe Christendom they also seem to be infatuated with Nordic deities. This is why I feel that the this Leftism political agenda and at time the far right political ideas promote Religion opposed to Christianity

I assume as a Elite he was educated not only in reading and writing but also in spiritual matters, the mysteries and Magick. He got into a magick battle with the Pharaohs Magicians who could perform the same tricks but with God on his side Moses's snake ate the other Snake. Jacob was tricked by his Father In Law who Jewish sources say was a master of powerful Black Magick. When Jacob was ready to leave there was the whole spotted livestock thing. Some baptist say it was an optical illusion or other things to explain it or was it "Magick" Jacob had learned from his FIL? Were all of the stories of Magick in the Bible allegory or parable? We really can't describe God as when we describe God we limit him and something limited can not be God by definition. It does seem that the Majority of the time God works through people instead of being a thing God does by himself. There were Mystery schools all over the ancient world and there were even schools for prophets during those times. Would we today call those Magick? It was occulted knowledge but what makes it bad or good? The fruit that the tree bears?

Yeah this could work with fluffy bunnies, entry level people with few expertise in these topics... but not with guys who have been around more time, like me lol. Most of what's described in this video applies only to new age and some (not all wiccan schools are that leniant) wiccan groups. Any pagan who knows the classics can argue and disprove christian missionary's points relatively easy. This is why christians have consistently failed in converting countries like India. Even this video falls into many paradigms and thigns taken for truth without questioning.
