If you liked the artstyle try to look for the comic "Odmieniec" if you know polish. I honestly don't know if it was ever translated in english nor released outside the country but the artstyle is similar. Not to mention the story/ies that are oozing with slavic folklore and at least one of the stories is based on actual polish legend about a certain duke.

7:22 I don't understand why in the Polish version it is literally Isle of Apple Trees and here we have Isle of Avallach.
@bengunn96703 жыл бұрын
>The name of the island in Polish is "Wyspa Jabłoni". "Jabłoni" is the equivalent of the apple genus Malus. In Arthurian legends, the island of Avalon (the Celtic word for "apple") was known for its beautiful apples and the Lady of the Lake is often associated with the scent of apples. This particular theme is revisited many times in Sapkowski's works. Looks like shitty transliteration.

Hopefully someday CDPR will remaster Witcher 1 and 2 in 4k quality and add some new content. Especially W2 was sorely lacking content. If I remember correctly I spent around 80 hours in W1, but only around 50h in W2. Of course both dont even come close to W3. And hopefully Saskia is a romance option :P
@brysonmorgan6264 жыл бұрын
Yeah but the first witcher game was way too slow on the story side, and getting across the map for the quests was so time consuming that it just became too boring. There were also rarely any enemies in chapter 2. The first game was not good imo
@rollercoaster4784 жыл бұрын
@@brysonmorgan626 I agree questing was slow, but I liked it.
@rollercoaster4783 жыл бұрын
@Mohammed W1 wasn't trash, the questing was slow due to backtracking and going around the whole map for some quests. That could be eliminated by having W1 remastered in a open world setting, no loading screens, more options to take the carriage or boat or ride a horse which was sorely missing.
@barnabasmike43182 жыл бұрын
@Mohammed you're being way too harsh on W1. Yeah it's pretty weak by today's standards but we're talking about a 2007 game, so what do you even expect? It does have its flaws, but for one I've really enjoyed it when I've played through it.
@ΧρήστοςΝικητέας-ν2ρ2 жыл бұрын
@@barnabasmike4318 I mean, by 2007 you had games like DMC 3, Shadow of the colossus, RE4, SH 2 & 3, ocarina of time and majora's mask, MGS 3 and the list goes on, so that's no excuse. But, it was their first game after all, and CDPR came a long way from W1. 2 was already a huge improvement
