I'm disappointed that Iorveth wasn't in 3 but I'm just glad to know that he's alive and well. Now if only CDPR can make an expansion to tell the Woodland Fox's story. I'd play it to death 🤣

If you search the corpse of that soldier that stole a "trinket" from Iorveth, you find Philippa's dagger too.

I feel like getting this scene is the best head-canon way to go into Witcher 3, because it at least provides some flimsy in-story logic for why Iorveth doesn't appear in W3 (you can tell yourself he's still recuperating from his magically inflicted wounds, so he's out of action).

Isengrim would've been epic on the side of Dijikstra. I sided with Yaevinn, Iorveth and Dijikstra no regrets.

I always wondered what would happen if you take iorveth side and save triss. I did all the other ones, but this looks like the worst outcome of all, both roche and iorveth suffer.

well if you rescue triss radovid wont burn every mage in w3 and the conclave of wizards works for him. i met their leader near radovids ship.

radovid's hatred for witches and their burning was a pretty big thing though, if that's not happening then triss and the other mages are all free? that would be interesting to see.

sorry but emhyr hates witchers more and they are not allowed to enter their nilfgaardian cities. also emhyr killed more people than radovid ever will. if you rescue triss she wont work for radovid in witcher 3. in my playthroughs i chose neutrality, iorveth and dijikstra.

you have to side with iorveth, then save triss. you'll come across these guards at the end; when you attack/kill the guards you get this custscene

No, This is for Iorveth path. This is what will happened to Iorveth if you chose saving Triss instead of helping Iorveth.

​@@kris4783 As far as I remembered the game didn't show or mention what will happen to Iorveth after the siege in Vergen. We can just assume that he either stay on Vergen or fled to the forest depending if you chose to kill King Henselt or not.

It is very likely that Philippa is responsible for Iorveth's injury. The guards just found his body while Philippa escaped

Do you have to play Roche's path to get there? Iorveth was just fine in my version^^

you get this for going to help triss rather than staying with phillipa at the end. iorveth gets captured by the kaedweni while trying to complete that part of the questline himself, if i'm remembering it right

@@nerminerminerminermi yes he tried to lift the curse for saskia , just like what would happen if Geralt did it with him but he was beaten by Phillippa and she escaped
