Gotta luv Witcher 3. What we believed to be an very minor character early in the game turns out to be one of it's most scariest villains (Gaunter O'Dim). And to think he was very helpful in leading you to Nifgard to search for Yennefer.

+Zfan but the sword sucks and the horn only gives you 5 sec of replenishment....not worth it, you are better off relying on 5 swallows, 3 white rafford & acquired tolerance ability...........

+Kul Zaze The horn doesn't really suck if you have just an ounce of patience and have a low health high damage build. The replenishment is five seconds because it's unlimited vitality regeneration, so it's really not just five seconds. Plus, you can eat out of the horn and stack the regen with swallow to get your health back a lot faster. Besides, it's good for people who don't want to spend more gold constantly just for another 6 seconds of regen. Quality of life item, honestly

Aleksa Petrovic The White Orchard ones are meant to serve as a kind of tutorial for getting Witcher Gear. The swords in the DLC are part of the Viper set you can acquire throughout the new missions.

The rewards seems very disappointing. The horse are the less cheap reward, but I like the brown color and I do not need to stun every enemy around. The food can be replaced with the ability that make every food last 20 minutes, and there is plenty everywhere. I literally never run out of alcohol in the game, not for alchemy nor refill them. The money is too low, you need more than that for the Grand Master gear if you don't have most of the materials, at least 100k would be reasonable for someone who can do almost anything. And the Ciri solution is obvious and kinda a spoiler, I play the dlc after The ending so was pointless. I save that dude just to defy O'dimm and see what happends. I was expecting a great battle, but I found a sword so... Meh.

I let him live and then got his sword but doing the game again J new game plus and will let him die for the saddel that's so cool besides the sword is good but there is better ones in the game but the saddle is super cool.

+So i decided to have a pretty long name I ended up taking the horn, because I felt that Gaunter O'Dimm was someone Geralt wouldn't want to cross and he's never been fond of Olgierd anyway. The horn is worthless, the heal lasts for 5 seconds and it barely heals you in the first place. If you want to get any reasonable amount of health back you'll be sitting around for 5 minutes spamming it

+Vinland I reset this last mission multiple times to try all these perks, in the end I think the fastest saddle is the best, the highest stamina in the game is 80 which you get from winning all the horse races and this saddle has 100 stamina, add to that you get the axii like effect if you park your horse in the middle of your enemies, and the final reason if you have the black horse which you get from Ciri's dad and you combine it with this zombie look the saddle gives your horse, then your horse looks badass with this combination.

You get a black horse if you take Ciri to the emperor and refuse his payment. The saddle O'Dimm gives you also makes Roach black.

When you bring Ciri to Emhyr he gifts you that horse, no matter whether you accept the gold or not.

no, the eyes glow in a ghostly/deamon white (like the black cat and dog in main quest of the DLC) but in my case - don't know if it's a bug - it's sadly only one glowing eye
