I suffered my first panic attack during this part of the game. My wife had recently left me and my life was a pathetic down spiral I felt no control of. There was something about the part when she says “you’ll flee my dream come the morning.” That haunted me to my very soul. BecuSe that at the time was my reality. The only time I got to see my family was in my dream. And I hated waking

These scars long have yearned for your tender caress To bind our fortunes, damn what the stars own Rend my heart open, then your love profess A winding, weaving fate to which we both atone You flee my dream come the morning Your fate, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep The wolf I will follow into the storm To find your heart, its passion displaced By ire ever growing, hardening into stone Amidst the cold to hold you in a heated embrace You flee my dream come the morning Your scent, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep I know not if fate would have us live as one Or if by love's blind chance we've been bound The wish I whispered when it all began Did it forge a love you might never have found? You flee my dream come the morning Your scent, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep

This woman was an incredible surprise in WitcherCon 2021, I listen to this song everytime, her voice is amazing, it's like we're inside a dream...
@Beregond18613 жыл бұрын
This is simply amazing. I've played guitar and piano for many years, read LOTR and the Hobbit books multiple times, learned how to play and memorize the original lyrics of his poems and looked for many other high quality "high fantasy"/fiction stories. Let me just say, it's *rather difficult* to beat the Witcher's music quality and world building.

It's funny when You think that the author of the Witcher was never interested in "world-building" yet he created one of the most original, authentic and rich fantasy world. Maybe it has something to do with him reading a sick amount of both low- and high literature books in opposite to those who reads Tolkien and think they can write fantasy...

The Witcher really had a lot of things going, it's one of those AAA games that really deserves the money they charge, it being a massive game is one thing but it really top it off when they included several dub languages, personal preference I do think the English version of this song is the best one (could also be because English is the only language i know from all the other languages they made for this). I listened to all the other versions and they were all fantastic! Not to mention the story is epic, the different outcomes and decisions, the endings that's available, the choice they allow the players to make to ultimately have good endings, sad endings, somewhat neutral etc, literally allowing you to see the story unfold into something you consider more emotional or seeing something that is happier or sadder to trigger the interest in the story. Everyone involved in making this game has truly made a master piece and a game worthy to be remember in history.
