Luma sweater definitely on my fantasy knit list. ❤ love your choices of plans.

I love all of your project ideas! I’m hoping to cast on the Ingalls sweater this year, because I’m still working on my first sweater, and I’ve only knit color work (socks) twice. I’d love to knit the Iris sweater, though. Baby steps, I guess. I also added the Bearberry socks to my TBK list. ♥️

i'm pretty convinced i'm going to have at least one rebecca clow design on my needles at all times in 2025!! i'm casting on the cara wrap cardigan so soon, and then hopefully the stick season jacket 🤞

I am super excited about the Staffin sweater as well! I have my Fivel already purchased and I am ready to go!

The Lumme sweater is one of my bucket list items for sure but I am working up my courage to do colorwork as a newish intermediate knitter. Next on my queue is the Chantal sweater by Moreca knits. I just love the look of the slipped stitches and I've been obsessively looking for the perfect yarn to make it.

I love all of your choices! I think i have to add a few to my list. My next cast on is Cold Hearts Hat, then I really want to try my first Stephen West shawl and I’ve selected Painted Bricks. I am really thrilled about those because I’ve been very scared of colorwork because I haven’t been able to finish them nicely before, but I am diving back in.

@@cosybooksandknits Now when I read the pattern, I am not sure I will do it anytime soon because of the steeks. I don't have a sewing machine and I am afraid of ruining it. I should have read the description better before buying it
@cosybooksandknitsАй бұрын
@ I’ve not done steeking before, so I’m uncertain, but I’ve seen a lot of people use crochet reinforcement instead - that’s much more traditional than machine sewing - maybe you could find a tutorial on an alternative for securing the steek? I don’t think I will use a machine either.
@ddb777Ай бұрын
@@cosybooksandknits I will figure it out, steeking was on my list of things to try some time anyway, so it will be a perfect opportunity, just need to gather courage I guess :D You know what would be great? A year long KAL for the sweater

such a great list of knits!! I am loving how my Lumme is working up and I think its been the perfect introduction to colorwork sweater knitting for me - a perfect beginner colorwork garment tbh!! and our colors are quite similar too, I cant wait to see it which one is going to be your MC?? 😍 also sooo honored by the love for my book club cardigan 🥲
@adrienneschmidt2053Ай бұрын
My bucket list knits include: Jack Ladder and Joe Batts Arm, both designed by Jennifer Beale; Hinterland by Jennifer Steingass; Pink is for Power by Melanie Berg; Darya by Valentina Bogdanova.

I have so many knitting plans for yarn I have already bought. I’m hoping to make a Book Club Cardigan out of some Paton’s Classic Wool Worsted in a shade called Natural Mix, a taupe-y light brown color. Then I have some fingering weight yarn in two colors that I am dying to make into an Antique Filigree pullover. It has intricate all-over colorwork. I have ordered some rustic wool from Denmark that I’m hoping will arrive soon. I want to make a Tomas Unisex Sweater by Oenling, a Danish company. It’s an all-over cabled pattern in fingering weight held double, so maybe dk weight. I think it’s a lifetime achievement-type sweater for me. That should keep me busy for most of the year, by the time I sprinkle in some smaller projects like scarves and socks. We’ll see how much of that comes to fruition. Thank you for a great podcast. I feel really inspired by it to get started on my 2025 plans. For now, I’m trying to finish up some Pressed Flowers socks that have been on my needles for quite a while. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays!

I love the Lumme sweater❤ I knitted it in December last year and I actually used the same yarn that you plan on. Unfortunately it’s too big for me so I definitely must frog it and redo it, but I dread the process😅 It will be so worth it tho😅

Ooh and just now I see you plan on the Iris sweater! We have a similar vibe going on I see😊❤ I am waiting for my yarn delivery for this today so that I am ready for the pattern release on Monday🎉
