Pete is a traditional man, so I don't expect him to understand why May should leave Yul, even after marrying Judy and birthed 2 kids with her. Pete Edochie is such a dignified person. For him, this didn’t come with age. Even from when he was young and was Okonkwo in the TV production of Things fall Apart, you got the impression that he was a man worthy of honour and respect. It is now clear that this is so because he is deliberate in making the right choices for his life and he holds himself to really high moral standards. If you are his son and you choose a riotous lifestyle, I doubt very much that you would feel confident enough to discuss your choices with him.

If you watched this full video on members only of this program, he stated that he does not know how to handle phones well, however, his blessing Star was baffling to me and Judy’s pregnancy in the movie, I thought was just a fake one. Remember that they are all actors. Your observation maybe right, but mr Pete Edochie definitely did not want the son to have a second wife, but definitely will accept his grandson. I wouldn’t hold anything against a child. The video of him and Judy at the movie set does not give a clear indication of what’s going on. Pete is an old man and I will give him a pass in some things. Okay let's accept all the points you raise ( except justifying polygamy with Solomon in the bible ,because there he clearly shows he picked a side. ) But if indeed May was a daughter to your friend, then for the sake of that friendship you would not allow her be disrespected in public , at least for the sake of that friendship. His phone skills were strong enough to be giving stray bullets advice to women over divorce, which he uploaded on the regular. . Why wait until May has been pushed to the wall so much she has taken drastic legal measures against Yul to shower her with all manner of accolades ? At least l know for sure the accolades he showers on her now , if done earlier , would have rendered all the cyberbullying Yul , Judy and even Judy's friends, have been doing to May, useless.Even a simple acknowledgement of that so called endearing Birthday message, back then, would have been enough to set those two straight.
