There's a book series I was reading when this came out and I always thought the song was inspired by the books, because I know they read fantasy also, one of the main characters is named Jill(ian).

Inspiring book is Titled, SILENT FORCE... Some Dutch author... inspired the 2 albums.

This album is inspired by the book De Stille Kracht (The Silent Force/The Hidden Force) by Louis Couperus, however this song is based on the Deverry Cycle novel series by Katharine Kerr. The song is told from the point of view of Nevyn and his relationship with the main character of the series, Jill(ian), throughout multiple generations and reincarnations.
