Hello linh! Hope you are doing well and that your trip truly lightened up your time…. If I ever went to Japan I would go to Hiroshima, and visit the museum and pay my respects there, because when I was so little, my parents took me there and I met this old man who had survived the events in Hiroshima, and beyond the language barrier, he talked to me in the wisest, kindest and most helpful way I have ever heard. This man and this place marked me for life, and he taught me to make origami cranes, I’d love to go put one back there

I want to fly to Kyoto and be there a few days, some days in Osaka and then some days in Tokyo. I wanna visit the Ghibli museum (and maybe find a way to go to the Ghibli park too), be in the Nara park, visit a lot of temples and give myself a lot of room to just explore the cities I'm in! (I don't really use my IG, so please just answer this comment and I'll see it!)

I've never been to Japan but I'd love to, besides the viral things and food and places I see on the internet that get me intrigued to visit, a huge motivation for me to work my as* off to be able to visit Japan (and Korea) is how I keep relating to the cultures of these East Asian countries, especially being from Sudan, a country that anyone would think would have a completely different culture to those countries, it"s honestly so wholesome and heartwarming to be reminded that we're all humans who are connected in the simplest ways, whether it would be how we address and talk to each other, our table manners, and so on :)!

Japan was my dream destination when I was about 13 but tbh now that I’m an adult I still have the desire to see and experience the many layers of this magnificent country. I remember thinking maybe i should quit school because there was a point where my grades were so low that i thought i was gonna fail anyway. i barely slept, i barely played online games. nothing felt like comfortable, i felt guilty when i took the time to do anything other than work, sleep, eat, or go to school. i'd like to think now, 2024, i've had a better balance in my life. i still dont play as much games as i would like, but i get enough sleep now, im doing well in school and at work PLUS i take myself out on self care dates. i feel like im finally getting a grip on things at 22

Linh you seem so happy these days and I’m so excited that you will be graduating soon! Your Japan trip seemed like a blast and I would like to visit someday as well (not sure what part). Your videos deeply inspire me to view life in a more creative and whimsical aspect. May you have a great senior year and good fortunes coming your way!

I just became a mom and you have now idea how glad I am to still be able to watch the vids. Brings me back to how I was before and helps with the reliving my grief. Thank you linh ❤

I've been wanting to go to Japan for years ! Seeing your stories and posts are making me soooo excited to see your video diaries soon ! The Ghibli museum is definitely top of my lists of places to visit in Japan, in addition to as many temples and traditional architecture as possible !

This video made me want to get so many cute things I can't! I would love to go to Osaka and try all the amazing seafood there! Been watching since your freshman year of college and it is just so awesome to watch you grow into this socially conscious influencer/person. That grasp you've had on who you are only grew stronger with time 😭 .

your room tour 2018 video was the first video I’ve watched of you and since then I’m a big big lover of your content. Every single time you upload I watch your videos and they are always such a blast! I normally don’t like commenting but I also wanna tell you that you’re so loved and inspiring and you deserve all the opportunities that KZbin gave you. I’m a bit jealous of the japan trip but cannot wait for the vlogs to come. thank you for always providing with such good content. big hug xx

Hi Linh! I've been watching your videos for what feels like a time life right now. You always give an amazing and beautiful energy ✨ My life right now has been good i moved to a whole new country and it has its good and bad days, but I'm loving every part of it. it's always brings me immense joy to see that you've uploaded another vid!!! but it also makes me very cautious to watch it, like a precious gift you're too scared to play with. Anyway just wanted to say that i love your aesthetic and i've rarely seen anything like it and fell in love immediately, especially when i'm more of a minmalist haha. im a freshman and im currently enjoying college life, although it's not always super fun all the time, i'm slowly learning how to navigate through it all. it's always such a pleasure to see your life though!!!

I’ve only discovered your channel recently and it’s become one of my go-to second tab while I’m working (I’ve been doing a somewhat boring desk job since graduating until I find my next move) whenever my brain needs a little extra something on the side. Always fills my quota of aesthetic wholesome happiness 😊 Good luck with graduation and whatever comes next!

Hi linh! As always, i loved your video. It’s so weird to think how much you’ve grown and changed. I watched you back when you rearranged your bedroom and put up a new bed, and now you’re living in Washington and living your best life travelling the world! Japan!!! Crazy!!! I really do feel like you’re more than a content creator, you’ve become a friend to your viewers. So yeah, I’m grateful to be a part of these corner of KZbin. Japan has always been a place I’ve wanted to live since i was a kid, Kyoto especially. It has such a rich history and seems like such a calming place, as well as incredibly beautiful. Obviously I’d love to visit Tokyo as I’m a big anime fan!! Anyway, thanks for always being a joy to watch, i started watching you when i was 14 and now I’m 18, it’s crazy how time flies. With love Lily (pun intended) ❤

I’m not sure if I would visit Japan. I do love a lot of stuff about Japan, but I feel a calling to go back to Germany and Switzerland first as an adult. Life update though, I graduated college with my Bachelor’s almost a year ago (May will be a year) and I have been working at my first professional job for about 6 months now. I am very grateful and happy with life even will all the hiccups that seem to be non stop. I don’t think I could have said that two years ago but I am so grateful to be able to say that today. I’ve been on and off with a lot of things (burnout and mental illness does that) but I always come back to your videos. We all appreciate you putting your time, work and authentic self into each one of your videos. It shows how much you care for your community and how genuine of a person you are. Give Kayla all the pats!! (I also have a cat named Felix and his life update is he got a fancy shave and got put on a diet. He is a fat, black, long haired cat who loves cuddles and under the blanket.)
