Thanks bro Justin. in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. 2 Thessalonians 1:8‭-‬10 KJV

@@tyronegooch5251The concept of the "new name" is tied to FAITH all across the Bible, beginning with Abram-Abraham and Sarai-Sarah; compare also Jacob-Israel. In Jesus' days it was Simon-Peter. It will just end with Revelation 2:17 and 3:12 for every man born again in the Spirit of Christ. The "name" is the equivalent of essence and character which is completely made anew with BELIEF in Christ.

A powerful lesson refuting Universalism, however they will argue against all you say because according to them you are using the wrong Bible. Their Bible is the Concordant version by AE Knock. You will never change them by preaching from the KJV which they say is a very poor translation, and incorrectly uses the Greek meaning of words,hence their interpretation and understanding of verses are different to what we as KJV believers believe.
@GraceAmbassadors

True, you cannot be a KJ Bible believer and a Universalist. Neither can you be a believer of any modern English Bible and be one. Not only do they think the KJ was a poor translation, but also every popular English version, and any Greek text and dictionary except their own. Their doctrine requires their own translation of the Bible and Greek meanings. This is a huge red flag: graceambassadors.com/bible/retranslating-to-teach-new-doctrine AE Knoch was unitarian. He denied the Trinity (Godhead of three in one) and absolute deity of Jesus Christ.

@34:20ffw I do object though with "the gift of faith is a Calvinist thing" because of John 6:28-29: "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, *This is the WORK OF GOD, that ye believe on him* whom he hath sent." and Heb 12:2: "Looking unto *Jesus the AUTHOR AND FINISHER of our faith;* who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Like Paul was struck with light on the road to Damascus when he was still Saul, WE DO NOTHING here. We just can't. (John 1:13) 🙏

The wages of sin is death. We all will face that. Hell is the grave….not eternal torment. Doubting Thomas’s will was NOT to believe. Same for Saul. His will was to wipe out all believers in Christ Jesus. All will see and believe just like these men who’s will it was to NOT BELIEVE. God’s plan wasn’t to save some lucky 3% => it was to reconcile all things back to God….and that’s exactly what happened.

I am not a universalist. Unsaved people do go to Hell, but there is a religious disconnect on the reason why. If you claim that people go to Hell for their sins in the Age of Grace,...then you make Jesus's sacrifice for all sins a lie. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Christ took on everyone's sin and became sin that through His sacrifice all would have forgiveness of sin. So the issue of an unsaved person is not unforgiven sin. It is a righteousness issue. Only a righteous person can go to Heaven. No one is righteous except Jesus Christ. Jesus imputes His righteousness on all who put their faith in His substitutionary sacrifice. It is Christ's imputed righteousness that allows us to be justified and have access to Heaven. Those without Christ's imputed righteousness will end up in Hell. Sin is already forgiven these people...that's where the Grace of God comes in. Grace is a free gift of God to all. This is why sin is not held against us...both saved and unsaved. 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. God does not impute their trespasses (sin) unto the world. Sorry...but the world are the unsaved. We who are saved are not of this world.

Christ took on the sins of the WHOLE world, Yes. But not everybody would WANT to have it taken away by Him. Billions of people still want to pay off their debt before God by themselves, absolutely futile job by man-made religion but they do it anyway. Did you ever see the reaction of a person having been offered sth for FREE? They always want to PAY for it. Thus, of course will they "die in their sins" as Jesus Himself said. John 8:24: "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am HE, ye shall die in your sins."

@@Corinna_Schuett_GER The book of John was BEFORE Christ died for the sins of the world...therefore no sins were forgiven anyone at that point in time. It also addressed Israel. Israel only has remission of sin until the refreshing from the presence of the Lord (the Second Coming). Either Christ died forgiving everyone their sins (for He died once) or His death was not sufficient. A person is not forgiven their sins the moment they believe...as if their belief could somehow invoke forgiveness of sin. They are already forgiven 2,000 years ago by what Christ accomplished and by believing that they are saved.

@@ginaidoma5925 Dear friend, it seems you lack some understanding of the concept of election (Romans 8:29-30). That is the other side of the coin. John 3:3 and 3:7-8 is out of the mouth of Jesus. Also consider Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 which is written long time AFTER the resurrection of Christ (please read all given verses before responding).
@tyronegooch5251

Consider Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.". It says "is" not "was". And since this statement is after the resurrection, humanity individually is still earning sin wages. Also, Galatians 3:22, "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe." Therefore, when you believe, it is true to you through your faith. If all are forgiven, then faith wouldn't be required for it to be true. An example. Let's say there are two groups of persons. Group 1 is everyone who has a mortgage and or student loan who calls their bank to see if there debts are forgiven. By that simple action there debts are forgiven. Group 2. All persons with mortgages and student loan debt. Their debts have been paid off, unbeknownst to them. Would the bank treat them both alike? Of course, because they debts are paid. Does the bible indicate God treats everyone like the bank would? No. Just group 1.
