I can understand it. I wouldn't want to play with him in a band. There is more Damian than music left during his playing. Or in other words, a band of 5 Damians would sound really bad. You need to be able to step back, play precise, make a pause, listen to the others, to play in a band. The older Damian gets, the less I see this and feel his playing. Don't get me wrong Damian has a great techniques and can produce wonderful tones, but that is not enough.
