The best ever Budapest Day trip - szigetmonostor part 2

Welcome back to part 2 of this epic adventure in my new favorite island destination in all of Europe let a lone Hungary. Szigetmonostor is a fantastic town right smack in the middle of the Danube. Just a ferry ride away from nearby szentendre, it makes for a great summer day trip for those visiting the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

On 8th April you can see "huszárs" on Kossuth tér :) There is a memorial "huszár" march in April that goes all the way from Pákozd to Vác. .:)

This reminded me of one summer trip of mine. Go to Nagykörű, they've got some great cherries and nice little streets on hot days. Even saw some deers venturing in just to steal cherries from the trees. They have a rév also. So calm, so comfy by the Tisza. - Great video, Wills!

The area that you thought for a lake used to be one som 50-70 years ago. People took their geese there :))))) It's kind of a playground now. :)

Yes, Horány is part of Szigetmonostor. Same municiapial offices and so on. It's one village :)
