Witley Court in Worcestershire England once the finest Regency Mansion & home to the Earl of Dudley

We enjoy a wonderful tour of the remains of Witley Court in Worcestershire once home to the Earl of Dudley who remodelled it into one of the finest Regency mansions in England... it was a party house where anyone who was of high social status would have danced the night away! Sadly destroyed by fire in the 1930s it still stands and commands an impressive appearance on a bright sunny March day... Enjoy our unique content ✨️

You still get such a sense of how it must've looked when you stand by the fountain and look up toward the house... it could almost be intact at a distance and still looks so imposing... Thank-you so much for sharing. What lovely ruins ! If there was a Baroque Chapel like that near me I might become a believer ! Somehow feel deprived that no one ever invited me to any Christmas gathering where I could select jewellery from the tree. So fortunate that they chose to preserve the ruins so well and the gardens look magnificent. And lucky for us that you are sharing the experience ! Thanks again guys ! Keep up the great work.

Even in the ruins one can see the former splendor of this wonderful Mansion. The story is very sad though! Indeed! The Gardens, however, are still absolutely delightful, As well as the Baroque Chapel which is magnificent, with its lovely ornate ceilings & stained glass windows, It is very beautiful! Hi Neil and Ant this is a superb place. We visited a while ago and loved it. You have covered it so well with a fantastic commentary that brought it to life. You had some lovely weather although can see it had rained recently. Loved the fact about the jewellery on the xmas tree i would have enjoyed that very much. You are right it is such a shame we cant see it when it was at its best imagine how fantastic it would have been. We didnt get to see the church on our visit but after watching this we will have to return as it looks wonderful. A great video thank you for showing us around. Hope your weekend goes well. Hi Dave and Dawn! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit... we were so lucky the sun came out for us! We were blown away by the place it must have been magnificent in its heyday! The gardens are stunning and the church is worth a visit in its own right! So pleased you enjoyed the video, it was a fun one to make! Sadly the fountain is currently out of action for a few months while repairs are carried out but we still found them to be splendid! Hi Carl! I think a lot of these aristocratic family's just ran out of money in the late 19th century... a lot of these houses saw neglect with mo heating or repairs in some cases for a century. Thankfully a lot have been saved and a lot restored... BC is being conserved but it would be great if they could restore too... Thankyou for supporting the channel we really appreciate it...
