Not a bad adaptation! I'm glad to see some of my other works getting some love :) Loved it

Loved that you used the Jedi theme to demonstrate Howard's passing. R.I.P. to a great engine

You know the sound of distant British Rail diesels locomotives has always had an Erie tone. The sounds of diesel engines. The sound of horns as they pass in the distance. I've always loved it but yet feel unsettled by the sound.

“Well, my story takes place not only a long time ago, but on another land. Once a safe haven, this place turned into a hunting ground. To be caught is a death sentence. When caught, a long, drawn-out death by slow dismemberment await. But what’s worse? To be on death’s door, or is it to be a... [Witness]?” - 22Tesla as Wolfgang Shepard.

That was quite a story and a sad one too It hit a rage with those two Diesels taking the rest of Howard. In case this video was amazing ✨ *100/10*

This is close to how I imagined the passing of non-faceless engines in my AU. Interesting Adaption.

This is fantastic, always wanted an adaptation of this story. I love anything escape related. There have been so many great escape adaptations recently and this is just a cherry on that scrap cake. Well done. Keep up the great work

Damn now that was disturbing and grim I actually saw a steam engine die before my eyes. That must have been horrifying. Nice adaptation keep it up. 👍

After seeing all the stories from the first season get adapted umpteen times, it’s nice to finally see that someone adapted a story from the second season.

This reminds me of the North vs the South during school I even saw Oliver talking with Jan and Bradley, but I still wonder how he feels about Howard though

I bet Oliver feels bad for Howard. To see him alive one day & die the next, he thought he was going to burst into tears. I wish Howard did join Oliver on his escape to Sodor.

God seeing an engine pass away when they die in their sleep when you’re nothing more than a faceless engine and I think Howard is at a better place now

This adaptation to this story isn't bad. I think it looks good. About time other stories, besides the most used ones, are adapted. Well done here.

RWS: Cruel diesels and railway staff actively go out of their way to cut up steam locomotives for fun and profit on the mainland. IRL: Many steam locomotives in the UK were rescued because it was cheaper and quicker to cut up unpowered rolling stock, and then sell the locomotives whole for their scrap value. Locomotives were only dismantled if the scrapyard couldn't find a buyer for the intact engine.

The former is more dramatic

@@fanofeverything30465 True, it's just kinda surprising knowing how Awdry typically tried to keep things realistic.

@@VestedUTuber Sometimes realism has to be sacrificed for drama Although I think some railway staff did go out of their way to scrap steam engines in real life

@@fanofeverything30465 Forced scrapping did happen with some companies in the US. It's why there's no surviving NYC Hudsons, for example.
