Haha! I’ve met good ol’ Aloo Baba a couple of times. First in 2014. Dude lives a pretty sweet life. Just stays put at his little Shangri-La and has lots of foreigners and Indian travelers meet with him and smoke chillums all day…he and his friends fed me potato soup…and he has a built-in slide from the top of his cave that you can slide down… He’s just eatin’ potatoes and smoking hash, and sliding around like a boss.

This is one form of hata yoga, where the yogi becomes so stubborn and keeps his commitment without a day missing into doing tough things like this and eventually attain control over mind. Aloo Babaji said the great thing, if you can't even control your desire for choice of different tastes, you can't control over any other desire. When you become the master of the mind you'll be the master of the universe! Jai Aloo Babaji pranams🙏🙏🙏

In Isha foundation I have found many yogis who after undergoing Samayama program completely on a raw diet for long long time . Sadhguru himself mentions that he consumes food only once a day !! This is truly miracle, I have underwent Inner Engineering program and I am consuming meal twice a day with 50% raw food... I have for 5 days consumed no food only on water and for all those 5 days I volunteered at a Hare Krishna temple nearby my home... I can list out the benefits of fasting , my digestive system improved alot. Since then I am living a minimalist lifestyle, decided to not have a child, not to get married and dedicate my life for Sadhguru. I have volunteered for river rejuvenation project called CAvery calling , I am working with farmers educating them about agroforestry, tree based agriculture where farmers can incrise their income by 300-800%, thus helping soil to increase its organic content , increase groundwater etc. Thanks to the Inner engineering program I have become more joyful , blissful, healthy than before and able to overcome my compulsions like masturbation, pornography, tea addiction , lazyness, unwinllingness

When i lived with this guy, I used to see many people visit. And i fet the energy being going down because of the people with low spiritual awareness, or human awareness in general. They were all far away from being connected to nature, their true selves. For Aloo baba, spirituality is his life, he's all about that, he has that loving energy which radiates through him. He has comfortable vibrations, where you feel safe. He's very aware, he just knows things. When i used to sit somewhere, having conversation with Anik Baba, his disciple, he would just joing the conversation, or tune in to the same vibe and start talking about the same thing! This is a wise soul here man. I did telepathy with him too, like i do with animals. Telepathy or spirituality in general does not happen with stars and magic chims. It happens here, now, it's all life and it's beautiful

And hates Cameras. Specially while smoking chillum and i came across him with my earthy backpack and a camera, tired from a day's walk.Ended up staying 20 days with him. The renunciation of food is a very high practice, its one of the last five steps before enlightement . 5 renunciation of home anf family 4- renunciation of clothes 3- reinciatiion of food 2- giving up breath ( means to control or limit the breath to 10 to 25 breath per min , useful while practicing long samadhi. 1- giving up body ( not literally but to give it to god lotus feet) 0 - now your existence is null (0),a void and u become one with god , union of God and you ( AHAM BRAMASHMI) I AM GOD ,THATS A JOURNEY TO ENLIGHTEMENT 😊
