India one of the most recognizable countries in south asia this country is so mythical and exotic and they really know how to celebrate their culture, mark twain an american author once said that India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great - grandmother of tradition and that's a lot to admire so yes India is a special place in so many ways the people are kind and their hospitality is extraordinary this was a good way to celebrate their families culture and history and always remembering that even in the us that god supposed to get your first fruits in church also a tradition in america, the whole day was definitely an adrenaline rush so witytravels thank's for sharing this wonderful day from this amazing country called India 🌗

I first saw Holi when I was watching a Kara & Nate video a few years back, can you believe that up until that point I wasn't aware of any of this stuff. Looks like a load of fun!! Some great tips on the coconut oil and glasses, you were both powder proof with that stuff on. Or so I thought!! Love how you had to make it down those streets whilst people were throwing water and powder down from open windows, and how kind was it of that family to invite you into their party. Nice to meet the Sixty & Travelling couple, looking forward to seeing more of your adventures in India!

Those are water balloons. Kids throw them from windows and balconies. Adults come down to the street. 🙏

We have to admit we learned the oil trick from the Kara and Nate video. The organic powder we bought came right off, but the pink powder they put on us at the party stayed on for a few days. Can't believe we're actually doing an India series! ❤🇮🇳❤🇮🇳

This is best holi video I ever seen which made by Americans, from delhi airport most of American jump out of plane put the bikini on and start walking in getto area, then complaint about get jacked. But you guys are amazing dress well, enjoy the holi in street with kids, youngster, mid age and older. I didn't see this combination in other videos. Reason why Wheat Earings are roasted in Holi Fire. Holi is period when Wheat Crop is ready and ripening.The way Sweets,Food is offered through fire to God Godesses,symbolically Wheat Earings are first offered to God through Holi Fire and Earings roasted in fire are peeled off and wheat grains are consumed as " Prasad"(Offerings) blessed by God through Holi Fire

Holi is a big festival of India since 1296000 years,, That the time Satyuga, A super powerfull King that called name Hiranyakashyp ,he was a Nastik and his son Parhlaad is a devotee of God Vishnu,, He want to die his son because of he did not like devotee,, Hiranyakashyp is warry powerfull in all universe because he is blessed by lord Barhma ,,a special type of power that's anybody can not give him death,, But the God Vishnu became a super lion (half body men and half body lion) Punished Hiranyakashyp and save the huminity and universe and Parhlaad ,, So we selibrate this festival ,,
