Monfils and Kygrios are very talented players, but they are more entertainers than competitors. Monfils likes to hit a lot of trick shots to please the crowd rather than actually try to win matches and tournaments. Rafa is all business on the court.

I don’t find anything at all entertaining about either of these guys. I’m from another era, that of McEnroe, Connors and Ilie Nastase, all “bad boys of tennis” from my era and even though they were very talented I found their behavior on court disgusting (freaking BABIES). The ref did say that Rafa had 15 seconds to get ready, whereas Monfils was allowed 25. I think that's a good rule of thumb, if that THE rule. With it, yes, the receiver should follow the pace of the server but still has at least 15 seconds to get ready. I think it's fair.

Roger Federer retired due to age and now both about 38 Nadal and Novak will be hanging up their racket too soon..The form of botth of them has dipped in 2024..Its a shame that Rafa was out injured in 2023 for a year as he would have won one or two grand Slam's. The Spaniard is the greatest clay Court player ever. Gael Monfils is a great player and could have won a few grand slams but his more of a showman and isn't always focussed in a match.
