Maybe when you measure the medium thickness fold them over like 4 times then divide that measurement by 4? Just a thought maybe that wouldn't work that good

These were essentially identical in all important aspects, and, except for the color of the housing, identical in external appearance. Tip - in measuring internal diameter, you have to insert the vernier caliper a little further, so that you're in beyond the little lip or shoulder and are measuring the true internal diameter. Take a look at how you were measuring them at 5:50 and 6:13 and you'll see that the caliper is not inserted far enough and is crooked and hung up on the lip of the tips. Also, your voice sounds like the guy who sells the F11 polish/sealant - is that you? Thanks for video. Next time figure out a way to measure filter efficiency and run equal amounts of something that needs filtering through them, and measure the time it takes each one, before cutting them open. P.S. You were correct that we would not believe the difference between these 2 filters - the difference was the PRICE.

Yes the caliper wouldn't barley insert. Ideas for future videos?

Wix makes oil, air and fuel filters for NAPA and at least some of the MicroGard filters sold at O'Reilly's. I usually buy NAPA Pro Select or Gold filters but I did buy a MicroGard 33424 fuel filter at O'Reilly's today because NAPA was closed for some reason. The biggest difference is obviously the length of the filter media. The longer it is, the more pleats it will have, therefore, the more "filtering" it can do. In case you didn't know, there are inexpensive tools designed just for cutting filters open rather than using an angle grinder.

Wix came with 4 adjustable straps and two hoses and it is working really good.

If they look the same, made by the same company, ratings are the same or similar, so in conclusion you're paying for a name brand for no reason. The 1 year warranty gives it away. It used to be replace every year ir every 12,000 miles which is about how long they usually last. I just replaced a Microgard that last less than 1 year and 10,000 miles. It would be extremely kind if you could test Liqui Moly Engine flush and remove the old engine oil and Liqui Moly Oil treatment after putting a new mineral oil in a car. Thankfully Joseph

Don't use any oil additives if that's what your asking seen the proof a month ago. Sure you can find it guy sends em off to the lab. Basically oils have addictive packages. Some things you add actually chemically react negatively with the package and turns the oil acidic.

So what do you think is the better value, Nate? Is it worth the extra money for a Wix?

Bro..... Running a grinder with no guard, then using latex gloves after your all suited and booted up... Come on man.... I use these things to often and when that wheel wants to bounce or catch. That sumbitch will ricochet if your lucky but most times explode. Not trying to be a dick. Just care about you keeping your fingers for years to come! Thank you for the video though
