I am going to build a free site for a friend. Is this editor only for a business site? I currently have a paid domain on hostinger. Their editor is similar but slightly different. Is this the editor I will be using and need to learn to build the free one?

Do you recommend switching to Studio now from Wix Editor? I have a site that's minimal now but I want to expand it with a blog, and concerned about ongoing support for Wix Editor.. Though it's also going to be a bit of work recreating it in Studio as there's not porting option.

Wix classic and Wix Studio have their own dedicated teams and I personally do not think they will stop supporting the classic Wix editor any time soon. So if you feel more comfortable with the classic editor, then you don't need to change!

Thanks @@wixfix. Part of the challenge too is that I've used the gallery element in a repeater, and this regular Wix gallery didn't transfer to Studio (Pro Gallery doesn't work in a repeater).

I have the basic editor on my business unlimited account and to get other features I want I would have to go the Elite account. Would Wix Studio give me the ability to use the referral program and I like the idea of the break points in studio can you advise me on what to do

I am not too sure what you mean by left to right text? Can you explain that a bit further? If it is a feature that is not yet in Wix Studio, you can create a post in the Community Forum in the Wishlist area. If that gets enough votes, then the Wix Studio team will know to prioritize the feature!

@@wixfix He probably meant right to left text, ie. Hebrew, Arabic.

Accordion titles that are tagged as H3s do not show up as H3s (I use Detailed SEO chrome extension). And the responsiveness settings of certain elements such as hover boxes bring havoc on the views on certain devices. It still seems as though Wix was designed for form over function.

Have you submitted a ticket to get the H3 tag resolved? If not, I recommend doing so because they can typically fix small things like that pretty quickly. In fact, I would submit tickets for all that you mentioned. And maybe create a post in the "Feedback" area in the Community Forum.

That will be a feature coming out soon I believe. But eventually all Editor X websites will become Wix Studio websites automatically.

Containers contain content. You can use container or cells to create grids in sections. But you can only use containers to make grids in cells or other containers. But great question! I will be sure to make a video in this series dedicated to containers that will explain them in more detail!

I can’t apply color gradient to a simple box container! There are no this option on the editing. I feel really disappointed with this version right now

It is! All Editor X websites will be converted to Wix Studio in a few months.
