Hi Parva, Ideally, any candidate who scores well in the GMAT would not require more than 3 weeks of IELTS prep. What's more, you can even prepare for IELTS simultaneously while you work on your college applications! Cheers & best wishes for your GMAT prep!

Most schools will not have a "cut off" for their programs. I encourage you to first check out their "class profile" page on their website. You will be able to find the mean or the median GMAT score for the last class that started their MBA program there. I would encourage you to aspire for at least 20 score points higher than the class median in order to bolster your chances of getting an admission. Of course, the GMAT is not the only factor - your GPA, application essays, work experience, and letters of recommendation are some other factors that have an impact on your admission chances. Checking out the class profile will allow you to evaluate whether your profile is a good fit for the school. Also check out "FAQ" and "Admission Criteria" or equivalent pages.
