Almost all of these have that problem tbh. The movements feel super unnatural. I can only think of 2 solutions for this tbh. 1. Revert every spell that wasn't considered a problem before like storm lord or meteor strike. 2. When there is only 1,2 or maybe even 3 enemies in the battle cast the old animation so it actually makes sense.

I doubt they would look better after the update comes out since this is what they are choosing to present. At this stage with test realm, it is more like bug testing. If it does end up looking better, please that would be nice but I have like little hope it would.

Tempest is currently bugged. The waves start too close to the enemies. This should hopefully be fixed before the update hits live realm :)

A lot of the spells lost their character. Like Bartleby, you don't even get to see his face as he heals everyone. They either need to change the camera angle on some of adjust the animation.

I feel like they could change forest lord. The spell could pick up tree's like the death version of it does and slam it into the ground, due to the force the forest lord spell put into the ground would cause an 'earthquake' type of effect causing it to hit all the enemies at once, and maybe causing thorny vines to cause DOT damage while acting like an AOE spell

Meteors and snowstorm need to be fixed imo, they should just make it 4 quicker hits instead of 4 all at once. Doing all the traps and stuff all at the beginning of the spell, and then following with hit-hit-hit-hit would be pretty cool and make a lot more sense than all of them landing at once. Also meteors completely missed in the animation and appears to have compromised the structural integrity of the island

It's a good start, some had updated animations or updated sounds, sandstorm had a whole new animation which was exciting so its a great start, they obviously can't change it completely to fit the faster pace but it takes time, I feel in a year or 2 all spells will be updated

Omg FINALLY TIME IS SAVED! No more one by one. Just kill em all at once Edit: they were kinda lazy with it but I digress. For dragon, Rain of Fire, and a few others (please name a few, I’m only a Pyromancer...) For dragon, they could’ve had it’s head move left and right, showing a better visual of everyone getting burnt at one. Rain of fire, the lava could split into four directions and that’d be visually appealing. There are other like that Nature one, where he now scratches them instead of giving players or enemies a concussion, they could’ve changed it to him actually looking like he was scratching instead of keeping the same animation. Looks awkward. Other than that, I’m extremely proud of this improvement! I’m sure there’ll be more in the future!

Fire dragon and rain of fire and tempest I feel could be better. It looks weird for fire dragon to have that wide of a spread to me and for rain of fire the lava seems weird to just be in the center and no one standing there. Tempest I think is just the camera angle. Forest lord does seem weird to but at least it stays still for it with claw marks on the enemy. Everything else I love, just my 2 cents if this

with cascading spells like meteor or blizzard, it does not fit that it splits in 2 projectiles that hit simultaneously .... let them rain in sequence ..same for summoning a creature that strikes with a weapon

Honestly as an og player, They took away a really fun part of the game. I remember having pvp parties at castles and like the suspense of the aoe hitting you was always fun. I don’t play w101 anymore but still kinda sad to see them change it
