I think it could be worth mentioning that getting a deck/accessory with an unlocked Tear jewel slot can allow you to buy an Archmastery jewel from Rockhammer in the Shopping District, allowing you to gain Archmastery power pips below lvl 50 if you plan on dual-schooling or using lore spells!

The Shango amulets and the Wintertusk hats are based on the old blades. Each blade used to get a 5% upgrade, though some time ago they changed all blades to be +35%, though they decided to keep the special item cards _(old Morganthe amulet, Shango amulet, Mirage amulet, Wintertusk hat)_ as the old ones. That explains the difference between the value of the blades. Also, about the Arcanum wands, there's actually better. Since the World gear update _(50-100-150)_ the Khrysalis boos, the Mortis' roots in Shadow Palace drop an insane wand for ever school at lvl 100. Even Ice gets like 18 Damage! Lemme find the link, and I'll answer myself.

Oh right that’s why those blades are like that. Good catch! I didn’t mention the khrysalis world gear because of the horrendous drop rate. I’ve personally farmed for them for hours and days and only gotten one for a school I don’t have. The gear I presented is more for people who wants something quicker and more reliable. But, I agree that the khrysalis world gear is good!

The morganthe drops were nerfed anyways. The new amulet has no blade, no crit, no pierce, same resist, less block, and less health. New athame has less damage because of a dual school, so it's just worse than The Blade of the Felled Titan, and Yevgeney's athame since they give more damage to the main and secondary school. Not even mentioning the fact that you HAVE to be on level to get them to drop, i think if you finish Polaris then they don't even drop anymore. Or if you hit a certain level. But regardless, they're a waste of time to farm for now, so i'm glad you didn't bring it up.

at level 50 you can farm Malistare and the myth boss in the dungeon for some killer buffer gear between Olympus and Waterworks, as well as wands that blow Sky Iron out the water

In the Shadow Palace the Tree Battle Moros drops unique wands which are incredible upgrades upon the sky iron hasta and will last u till merciless gear. You need to do this farming before beginning polaris so while ur questing farm the tree boss get the wands and you will not regret it

You're right, however, the drops is very very low and it can drop for every school. So, you're farming a very low drop rate wand and there's 1/7 chance that it's your school :// but you're right it's really good!

@iso_wiz i don't know about the low drop rate. The 1/7 is a bit of an issue but it's future proofing for new wizards. A group i farmed with within 15 rounds got all of their wands 2 people got all school wands + 3 storm and i got every school besides balance and life. Overall the rates have been better. Defo better than some other farmable things on this list. Either way the battle is simple especially with 4 people so yeah

@@iso_wiz Honestly the level 100 wands from the tree boss are 100% worth farming imo, the drop rates really aren't that bad. Now as for the Morganthe rings, they are really nice upgrades but those are actual bad drop rates so I would say that is skippable.

just wanna second this, i farmed for the wands pretty recently and got all 7 in 2-3 hours with a full group and 2 round kills. also to clarify to anyone reading: if you finish polaris then the wands will not drop anymore. also, you can save some time in between battles by having one person leave and port back, it respawns the bosses.

Worth noting if you wanna spend the crowns heartsteel is a very good athane that will last from lvl 5 up til 30 . The resist goes a long way solo’ing quests

When I went through all the schools, I crafted the winterbane hat and waterworks for the rest. The blade is so much value for the loss of a couple of stat.(not sure exact ones). But it's perfectly okay if you don't have the reagents, waterworks gear won't be too much of a difference. Another mention is the level 58 gear at bazaar has the same damage as waterworks. They work very well until you get waterworks or winterbane. I have even seen people take this gear to darkmoor, so if you don't wanna farm at all you can buy the level 58 gear at the bazaar.

There is decent atheme for level 60 called the lexicon blade. You get it from the Tower of the Helephant. The only donside is that you can't transfer it to another wizard in your shared bank.

You can actually buy wands that are better then sky iron between 115 and 100 from a NPC in walrusburg as well as pip decks in they aren't available in the bizarre. They aren't too much better as they are sky iron +3 pierce, but they're good for the rat if you don't have mali's wand

5:12 respawning won't help getting all 3 pieces, too remind you only the squid drops the waterworks hat, the final boss only drops the robe and boots, So you'll have to keep redoing till you get the hat then the rest of the gear unless you use the second chance chest

For level 50 and beyond i think its worth to grind malistaire(dragondspyre) for his wand because it gives equal or more damage as sky iron and pierce, the dragonspye world gear also gives nice rings which give damage but they get outclassed fast by the grizzleheim gear. Still cool that they're the first rings to give damage.

For the vanguard item's you can use any class school to craft the dragoon gear. So, if you have a death vanguard hat and you need myth dragoon then you can just use the death hat to craft myth. Don't waist your reagents on vanguard gear.

TBH, i think the zeus gear is severely overrated past 50. I find that after level 50 the bazaar gear just outdamages it by a significant margin, and getting ANY crit at that point (assuming you dont have it on your pet by that point) is just so vital. Get some cheap bazaar gear for better damage/crit until you get waterworks proper imo

I disagree on the tartarus gear its direct upgrade on the waterworks gear if your over leveled like I was I was able to make use of it in azteca and trough kryhsalis and going up untill you reach castle darkmoor notably if your having a hard time finding teamates to que it can be a huge life saver the drop rates on the hades gear is is preety high considering you can get multiple peices.

Currently for PvP both balance and life are one of the best schools (life is a little more op). As for PvE i’d say it’s easier to quest as a life compared to balance.

Interesting you never mention Nightmire gear. Robe I think is better then Aeon. Another thing is Wand Aeon is not as good as Professor DMG is same but Professor has 1 more Pierce. If i am wrong plz let me know. Switching these 2 gains 3 dmg with only a loss of 1 pierce.

I am a Balance main, and I agree with you. At level 60 one needs waterworks gear--that's the first "big wizard" gear. So exciting. Level 100, you are doomed to farm Darkmoor, and at level 160, I still use it. Eventually, you do end up farming Detritis during double reagents, and you will join a two round team. I farmed him for 12 hours before falling over. I have no idea how I got all the Karamelle and Lemuria gear. I must have been drunk, only thing I can think, I don't think I want the Novus or Raid gear. Instead, I think I want to fix up my Castle.

I'm sorry but i highly disagree with what you said about the Lemuria gear. Epecially when you started to sound biased toward strom and fire. When people play on the other schools. My suggestion for persons questing on other schools. Get the Malevalent boots but Merciless Robe and Hat while having merciless atheme and ring and make sure to get pierce jewels from mobs in Mirage cause in Novus you need not only damage but pierce as well and the other schools arent as equiped to deal damage unlike fire and storm. Also please do not use the cabalist gear. If you do i garantee you, that you WILL struggle despite the damage.

This is a video for leveling. I promise you can quest through with cabalist gear, I've done it many times. You progress so quickly that it's not worth farming gear that takes hours and hours to farm.

you really like to hate on guides that arent perfectly accuracte dont you. you're also just... wrong??? the point he made in the video is that malevolent hat for fire and storm are best, while for storm it may only be with raid robe, for fire, its the best hat in the game considering it gives power pip chance along with good pierce and damage. And especially since i see you didnt listen, he said lemuria gear is skippable, and highly suggests to do so. its not worth your time farming for merciless gear when you get a better set 10 levels later. He isnt being biased at all. Your personal opinion, also sucks. malevolent hat misses out on resist, while malevolent boots miss out on pierce. Its a better all around set if you go with malevolent hat, which you can also run on myth if needed. But the reason it isnt used on other schools is because the resist is missing from the hat. Its better to use aeon. However, one thing i do agree with you is that the cabalist gear is not worth. Keep dragoon until 160.

Also even if you claim this vid is for those who wanna "quest fast" you have to keep in mind that the game starts to slow down by the time you hit 130 albeit because of grinding for gear and just cause of that you shouldnt tell people to take short cuts to handicap peoples stats when we all know things get tougher past 130 so you need stats.

Not all schools have that luxury and need defence, high pip chance and high accuracy to be successful while questing. Cabalist gear wouldnt work for other schools because of that. Which makes the 130 gear still worth it. Besides you yourself even said you can get vangaurd gear and you'll be fine and getting those wont take too long not to mentioned you even spoke about the crafting benefits that helps save time.
