Wysteria has a genuinely hilarious and fun concept of a world to explore. The background of it being bizzaro wizard city because of its petty founder being a ravenwood reject is honestly wonderful. I will say it has one of the most bizarre difficulty spikes(those damn green men) Also the main plot is pretty damn underwhelming and I get it, it’s basically nonessential filler but i wouldn’t have minded if the Tournament itself had a pit more pazzah to it. Either way, it’s a nice change of pace between finishing Act 1 and before starting act 2.

IDK if you know this about Wysteria or not, but the schools they teach aren't actual schools of magic, they just teach really really low level magic of the basic schools, ones that don't even constitute actual spells that the wizard can learn since they are (at least in the context of a Ravenwood student) bottom of the barrel basics, where in Wizard City you may learn fire cat in Wysteria you may learn to light a candle. This is also why Cantrips are taught there since the most you can learn there are no joke, Cantrip level spells. So its not that the magic itself is different in each world so to speak, its more of just they are too lazy to teach you anything else, and hence why they were rejected from Ravenwood.

I genuinely love wysteria, it just so much fun. It’s a good break when I’m playing a new wizard. It also just has a nice aesthetic, as a little girl I loved Pegasus park (or whatever it’s called lol) and I would just hang out there in game doing literally nothing but running around looking at Pegasuses. I also somehow got the Pegasus housing item in the stable area and I have such a vivid memory of that.

No need to share my ranking, probably no one's gonna agree with me on that. Just wanna point out that for me, side quests are a HUGE factor when ranking a world. It makes the world 9x longer and is sometimes more lore-heavy than the main quests.

I agree with mostly all the rankings. I like marleybone a bit more, but I can also see as someone favoring the storyline it can be pretty poop. Love how high you ranked Wysteria especially!

i disliked marleybone a lot the first time i played it, but more recently when i got back into the game, i found i really enjoyed the soundtrack and the pacing! the robbers sneakily running on the roof tops made me laugh, and i liked the big ben meowiarty fight!! its top 3 for the first arc for me :3

Mooshu is my all time least favorite world from Wizard. Which is funny because Pirate101's Mooshu is actually one of my favorites. Also 100% agree about all the pop culture references, sometimes it's fine, then other times they go way too overboard where I'll see a great character only to roll my eyes when I realize they're just a parody of an already existing character from another show or game.

I personally feel like krokatopia is most long, slow, repetitive, bland world. Like so many quests in one world. And all they do is make you fight Kroc after Kroc with some color hue changes. The only one they put actual some change to was the final Kroc boss. So my opinion… F/7 tier.😊

this is kinda late lol, but i personally dont like the "new" wizard city quest line so much. They changed the 3 streets questline and made it so bad, why is a bunny controlling a cyclops, and then why is private quinn so scared to mess with the fire elves. When before he was just trying to help the fire elves because alicane was his best friend. All though the graphics revamp is obviously way better, i agree with what you said but the questline is just so meh to me now. On a side note, i love your content alot , very eduacational and entertaining. Keep up the amazing work!

I think I like grizzleheim because of the lvl scaling because you enter it at lvl 20 then every 5 lvs you unlock a new area that's why I don't do Grizzleheim early because to get into ravenscar you need to be lvl 40 that's when it gets a little difficult plus you forgot the jotin fight that's very hard for the lvl you are at plus I love to wintertusk before second arc because of the massive EXP

Every time I quest or power level, I get burnt by Katzenstein's Lab. It is the most broken dungeon in the early game and always screws up its own instance quest.

My take I only did mooshu for theme, hated the crimsons fields dungeon and towards the end it felt short. Marley bone: I hated Big Ben with a passion and the 2 dungeons besides it. I did like the characters they referenced like bones and the scratcher Grizzleheim: hated with a passion for 1st part due to non existent xp and only did it to unlock legion shield, which I don’t regret the slightest. Part 2 was nice, but I hated wintertusk cuz solo ice in tht world is pain. Kroktopia: liked the world, hated the ice area Dragonspyre: non existent xp, especially when you start celestia and get a shit load, loved the storyline and theme Never did wysteria

Grizzleheim's pacing is abysmal but everything else about it is my favourite in the game. Wintertusk is like Grizzleheim without the pacing flaw, and it's nearly perfect for me because of that. Because of all that, if we're counting them separately, Wintertusk is my favourite world in the game, and if we're counting them both as one thing, the full Grizzleheim package is still my favourite world in the game bar none.

I get why the xp rewards for the side worlds suck, but that shouldnt mean that everything else about it sucks. If they dont want the player to level, thats fine i suppose, but then remove the xp completely and give other rewards like tons of reagants for example, or strong tier 4-6 pet snacks

@@heyitsmax_ Fair enough it's honestly supposed to be done around Celestia making it's arc 2, but people see it as an offshoot of Grizzleheim making it arc 1 so ig it really depends on when you do it. I did it before dragonspyre the 2nd half of dragonspyre for some reason making dragonspyre and Celestia really easy

You could look at Wintertusk from two angles. Either a side world in arc 2 during/after celestia Or Super hardmode world after finishing arc 1 (pre celestia)

Mooshu at the bottom, most deffinitely. Even as a kid i was excited to be in feudal japan and it was boring and underwhelming, and it looked so samey, so much more than other early worlds, its the one that is the most samey. I dont like mooshu

I totally concur about Mooshu. I've actually got two wizards stuck there right now, because every time I go to play one of my lower lever wizards, and attempt to make some progress on them, I look at those two wizards and I'm like: "I really need to get going on these two. I mean, my other lowest wizard was level 60 last month, and he's now well above a hundred, but these guys have been in the upper 30's for months. Hmmmm... wait... what world are they currently in again? Mushoo?!? F, that! I'm just going play on one of my Max levels, or on that Death wizard who I just got through Poalris with the other day." Seriously... that's essentially how my internal monologue plays out when I go to choose a wizard. I genuinely find Mushoo that monotonous and insufferable that I have allowed to of my Wizards to languish there, in limbo, for the better part of the past 6 months. It's just so boring. You literally just run down infuriatingly long paths leading to forgettable boss fights, killings some pigs along the way. There's nothing remotely enjoyable about it.
