One thing that burns me up about w101 is that mobs use spells that you learn from ravenwood, like, i didn't know that salamanders went to ravenwood and been scholars from dalia falmea or any other teachers. I think mobs should have their own spells

mobs are born from magic and have an element we wizards are not that's why we do not innately have any element strength/weaknesses

i mean the wizards in the arcanum, alhazred (some random dude in a hole in krok) and some guys in dragonspyre are all teachers, so im sure the spells aren't reserved or hidden from randoms.

For the run what is and isn’t allowed? Can you use gear farmed from another character? Pack gear? Pets? Glitches? What all is allowed? Because I think wizard city would easily be beatable in under 30 minutes if you used all of that to your advantage

I see no reason to do Cyclops lane before fire cat alley. I always save Cyclops lane for last. Then again, I always do fire cat alley first. I go from bottom street to top street.

Think about like this. If you do fire cat first, then the run should be much smoother. If fire cat is done first, then you have easy triton, then Cyclops lane becomes even easier due to your higher level.

You need to do Cyclops lane last because you can skip it.

you don't have to do it last to skip it, you can do it in whatever order (most ppl do 1st or 2nd)

I'm gonna assume this is a "no pet allowed" run. Wouldn't it be theoretically best to run a life wizard with like a full crit pet and just crit everything with 90% accuracy? I'd imagine storm is the fastest without pet just massively rng dependent
