as someone with 0 friends whos first lengthy school run was balance... i agree. i literally beat all my fights with 5 hp and thats with enchanted arm (just got to azteca recently), gear blades, and like 2 diff feints etc etc. Its a lil fun to see big numbers but man its so long and boring and rng based. I also already have 1in a mil so oh well

For early game 4 pip AOEs, I like to give my wizards a pet that carries one as an item card. Great for life and death

BONUS INFO FOR EVERYONE (But especially Myth!) If you go into Monstrology or use other minions, be sure to check out the hidden trainers in Krokotopia (main hub, timer portal, check the roof of the shop) and Marleybone (When you enter the airstation that splits off into multiple dungeons and zones, take a right down some stairs, trainer inside a no light door) these two trainers hold an immense amount of minion foocused cards that can do anything from unique balance blades, shields, heals, or even draining your minion for health or outright deleting them for pips. When I picked up Myth I remembered to check these out as I explored Monstrology and made so many solo encounters a lot of fun. Not as meta as quadra+ blading into a enchanted double feint attack, sure, but the uniqueness of being able to explore the enemies of W101 in a more unique way of "hey, nice stats/cards, wonder how they'd work with this other enemy I could capture.." Myth's unique passive with monstrology gives it such a fun solo (and duo, even!) playstyle that no other school can play through to the level they can.

And unlike most bosses where it’s once, maybe twice, and your good (or at least ones like malistaire the undying it’s with different cheats) you flight belloq 4 times I think throughout the story and he has this cheat at least 3 of them.

When I first started playing the game it was storm all the way. Now coming back to it after some time I still love playing as a storm wizard. They just hold a special place in my heart.

*Don’t get into the game, it’s pay to win garbage, especially if you wanna get into pvping.* The pve is boring and repetitive with the exception with a few cool dungeons/boss fights, like Olympus (at lvl 30), waterworks (lvl 60), malistare (at lvl 50ish) and darkmoor (at lvl 100) The devs shove micro-transactions down your throat which puts the free 2 play players at a huge disadvantage for pvp because some essential pvp gear is locked behind a gambling paywall (a.k.a packs or sometimes pre-paid cards) The best boots and wands are often behind gamble packs which have a low chance of dropping And grinding for certain gear (if you’re free to play) can be quite tedious and unfair. Go get into different games, go play Minecraft or fortnite or something… anything else This game sucks end doesn’t deserve your hard earned money

A combination of Zeus and Senator can carry you up to even level 60, where waterworks can take over. Even then, level 56 has access to the Wintertusk crafted set which is comparable to WW. I do wish there was a wand somewhere in there that can overtake the Sky Iron but its still phenomenal

Ouch…. Should have picked a different school for my first solo run but I have played my balance wizard for YEARS (lots of breaks from the game) and am finally on Avalon. Going to be interesting to see how I handle the challenge of balance bosses at a higher level. Especially when no one will help me through dungeons anymore.

8:20 raging bull also has that detonate ability now, without the 200% bonus. It's a really useful combo with dragon when soloing

I've been a Fire Wizard for so long, but now I'm thinking I full-send Storm. I've been thinking about it a lot and plan on making a new Wizard. The more I think about it, Fire is getting harder as a Solo in the late game. Didn't realize DOT was really messing me up.

My take on this: make all the 7 pip aoes initially into raw damage aoe hits that do damage and nothing else like orthorus and then make the usual no pvp utility the first spellement path (stun for frost giant/storm lord, dot for fire dragon, drain for scarecrow) and make the other pvp utility the second spellement path

The alpha omega ring isn’t over rated and the blade of the felled titan. Those 2 pieces can easily stay with you till level 160 and you wouldn’t be missing out on much

Mount Olympus was a really fun dungeon in my opinion and I didn't mind grinding for it

Wand hits, aoe to get rid of minion and few damage on belloq and some dots even from other schools to just give some time to buff urself😉 (the minion triage boss, but not when defeated)

Its so, so, so frustrating that KI will ALWAYS default to a cheating boss that absolutely obliterates all momentum rather than add even an iota of complexity to the actual gameplay. Such a waste of potential, really.

How do I play as balance? 😂

Dont forget that death can summon a monster for a ally with 1-5 pips. I am death lvl 30, true, i still struggle a little bit on the missions but the grave spell is big help. He puts debuffs heals me attacks and is ssiiick. He does more base damage than me and i am concerned 😂. Any tips?

I saw this before my first run through Mooshu. I saw the War Oni, connected him with this Behemoth, spammed wand hits, and had my first death because the Oni and minions stacked for like 5 rounds for free.

Von in darkmoor also does this. Though he'll cast monster mash with a beguile

I did wc faster than 1st place dude, but that's cause I used cheat engine and had my maxed storm on my alt account to help
