I totally LOVE the dialogue in W101 :) I struggle to quest with others because I am soooo slow listening to every word and such a noob about it haha. Battles are fast, dialogue is slow. I'm not sure my play-style is very typical 😊

It’s hard to sit through, so many of the quests are completely irrelevant to the story and are glorified fetch quests, it’s not very common you come across something like this with a coherent story

If this is the new Krok im a little stuck because I really wanted it to be even more ancient like going through the tombs but this part is really polished and new looking.

It probably isn't. Krok represents an more modern depiction of Egypt with the British coming to the land and all but this dungen shows the more ancient version of it with the smooth white pyramid and an active monarchy.

The reason there are many professors is because in doctor who when the doctor is dying he/she can regenerate their body and change into a new face/body but they are still the same person :D

I feel like, given the way you have to obtain this gauntlet, it being a bit on the easier side is a good thing. Imagine someone buying it because they're interested in the updated Krokotopia and/or the Doctor Who references, but then they get in and realize it's too tough for them to complete. Money wasted.

I hope with the Krokotopia revamp they don't make everything smooth like Wizard City. Krokotopia (at least the insides of the pyramids and sphinx and such) is supposed to look old and cracked and barren. Personally for the insides of places I like the old grainy look.

i really dislike the grainy and dirty, old look. I hope they make it shiny in some parts and keep others cracked and dirty to show where they're excavating

@@DivineBeastVahMedoh But the thing is, that's what Pyramids and tombs are, dirty and grainy. I think they can improve the texture but just less spongy than it is now rather than making it look like the Krok Gauntlet

@@DivineBeastVahMedoh It doesn't have to be destroyed, but these things are mega ancient, and you gotta think about weathering and erosion from sandstorms and wind and stuff.

@@DeltaPJ What I meant to say was that I dislike the grainy old looking textures from 2008. But I do agree that Krokotopia should still look like an old world. I would also like for them to change the entire layout for some places. Every place in the Pryamid of the Sun looks exactly the same, same goes for the Sphinx and Tomb of Storms. It gets so exhausting to quest in Arc 1 because of the repetitive looking locations

I wonder if it is glitched, but at the lowest level, the cheats were significantly harder. He summoned 1 minion, then after you kill it, 2 minions kill them, and then 3 minions. If you AoE killed them all, he revived the all to full health, or if you tried to kill the boss first, the boss would heal to full health

OMG that is WHY I am here!!!! I ran it max level easy peasy then took a friend through it and couldn't kill the butterfly. He brought Young Morganthe and every time we killed them they just respawned. Second try with the level 21 friend he brought Young Morganthe, then Diego, then a giant wasp dude...we finally managed to defeat them though not sure what the rules were to it. It was so complicated and weird having 2 max levels and a 21 newbie and struggling to work out how to defeat them, when we had done it so easily with just 2 maxes before! Thanks for sharing, I was feeling so confused by it! :)

Okay, this explains why I saw some of the kroks and Zan'ne updated prior to the gauntlet coming out. Also, I like the updated version of Krokotopia, but the main area of the Oasis, where you teleport to, does look a little odd with the moon shaped pond. Still looks good though! c:

I love that KI is getting more involved with the Doctor Who fandom, since they had added an easter egg that had its origins in Marleybone for the B.OX.E.S event already. I also adore the new Professor design? They did Jodie Whittaker justice with the design. Maybe one day we can get a main story questline or an xpac, or even an explanation as to what caused the previous Professor to regenerate.

I checked this to find out what the score is with the vindictive time butterfly and yours did the same as my first run, just the butterfly and nothing very weird. I tried to take a friend through it and got to the butterfly only for him to bring Young Morganthe and KEEP respawning EVERY time I killed them! So we tried again, only this time he brought Young Morganthe, then Diego, then a giant wasp dude...managed to defeat them but that was crazy weird! Reward for our efforts - 1 gold lol. 😂

One other thing is you can't go back in the box after you have done it to shop for the robes. You will have to do the whole thing over again as the shop guy will not appear if you go back in. They should have made him available to people that have already done it. OH and I think you get a badge or something after completing it?

i feel like you're getting your hopes up with regard to krok update. the story clearly shows an alternate history where the kroks never fell, so the world never fell to ruins like in the real story. an updated graphics krok wouldnt have the pretty marble and gold designs since it would be ruined like in the current game.

I COMPLETELY agree with Tara about making krokotopia/wizard city free after this update. There's a lack of new players and it just damages the integrity of the game because those who do attempt to play the game as a new player usually end up being alone for so long when they're in krokotopia.
