UPDATE: Elemental and Spiritual Retriever tokens can now also be crafted for 100 Fortune Coins from the NPC Madam Magda when you participate in the Portal of Peril event! This is a great alternative way to get these tokens without needing to actually own one of these gauntlets or borrow it from a friend! Okay, but for real, that timer needs to go or I would farm all my spellements this way 😭What tweaks to spellements would you like to see?

I think spellements are really cool in concept but its really dumb how you just cant obtain them past a certain point without needlessly excessively tedious processes. Imo you should be able to farm spellements from bosses no matter what world or level you are. Or bare minimum atleast make it so you can farm the final fight of a world for spellements. As they are right now spellements are far too much of a hassle and grind to be worth farming for And I'm someone who's usually fine with grindy things

I realised too late that after my last wizard passed into celestia, I had no chance of easily farming spellements anymore. I thought I was doomed, but after this video I learned that I am only mostly doomed. That is such a long chain of tasks just to be able to farm something that was meant to be simple. I like that they made it so you can get spellements from questing now. But I think the fact that they made it so you can't get them once your through that world is a little dumb. Especially at lower levels/worlds where the new players have no clue to not finish that area so they can farm for better spells. And you also don't have good attacks to farm the spellements in lower realms either. Overall, I think they have the idea but just can't execute it.

I totally agree! If I could make one change besides just buffing the existing methods to get spellements, I would absolutely change it so that higher levels can still farm lower level bosses in Wizard City - Dragonspyre for spellements. I see no reason why we should be cut off from that option just because of our world progression/level.

If you can get a double pet xp member benefit potion and a crafting membership benefit potion and use them on one wizard you plan on using for pet hatching and leveling, you can level up your pets super fast and get double the reagents. Been doing this for the past month and if you only go on that one character you used the potions on and only switch over pets, and snacks, it seems to work out pretty well. Also, if you unlock the retriever talents on the first pet, and then hatch a second pet that manifests that retriever talent, the retriever talent will be auto unlocked. And then you can start giving all of your wizards so they each have one. From there, you can cycle through each player, because the 300 second timer is character locked, not pet locked. So character number one can use the talent, then you log out and jump on character number 2 who wont have a timer. :D I was planning on making a video at some point but haven't been able to get all the elemental tokens i needed haha

Thank you, thank you! I don't think I've ever seen this explained. Plus, at the launch, collecting all the reagents seemed so overwhelming, I just disregarded any information as unnecessary since it would not be useful to me for an infinitesimal amount of time. I don't know which KI dev keeps coming up with these Sisyphean tasks, but they need to stop. Wiz is meant to be a pleasant pastime, not a grind of Olympian effort.

@@Zaepha Just wanted to let you know that I did it 🥳 It turns out the harder part for me was getting the myth tokens since I'd apparently never trained a single myth pet to mega, but lots of mega snacks (and a few crown energy refills) later, I finally made it. I was a little disapointed to realize it only works on chests in arcs 1 and 4, but understood when I realized there were no spellaments for the spells introduced in those worlds. Maybe someday...

A good idea is to breed your retriever pets on all your wizards and then rotate wizards every time you open a chest

​@@Zaephaalso if you have at least 6 wizard with the pet manifested talent, then by the time you cycle through each, the first wizard's pet timer will be ready to go to open another chest. Using the shiritaki temple dungeon works well since it always has a chest spawned when you enter the dungeon. Granted this method is only for rank 1-5 spellements but it's definitely the fastest for those. I need to test to see if there are any other instances with viable chest spawns for higher level spellements

Life hack I use for Azoth farming is using Balance Scout on my fire and Elemental(?) Scout on my balance so I get double at the same time

You can also get 2 Elemental/Spiritual Retriever Tokens from every PvP Battle Pass for free at 23 points as of now. Personally that’s how I unlocked the talents since I didn’t have access to the gauntlets that drop them 💀

It’s definitely not worth it for the average player unless you want the “best” possible damage. They need to buff how much of a damage improvement you get for upgrading though cuz you’re right that the effort put in doesn’t really match the reward you get 😭

The best way is to just farm the malistaire dungeon until you get all the gear for your school. By the time you get all gear for your school, you’ll have tier 2 spellements from ranks 2-6. This is the only method that is efficient enough to do.

if i unlock the talent, hatch an offspring, the offsprings as u said would have it unlocked.then i take that offspring and transfer to another wiz via shared bank, would it be unlocked on the other wizard?

Yep! I mention that a bit later in the vid. I hatched pets with the unlocked retriever talents and then transferred them to my other wizards and they all stay unlocked.

So essentially, if I farm up to get to this point of being able to get these spellements in chests using my pet's ability, I'd be able to get spellements for my higher level spells like Forest Lord and the Caterpillar? Cuz that would be REALLY helpful.

Unfortunately it’s only the rank 1-6 spells (like fire cat through helephant) and the karamelle, Lemuria, and Novus themed spells that you can use this for but it would be great if they expanded it to include other spells too.

Honestly, just use trash snacks to raise your pet's happiness when you want to use something like the retriever talents. Save your mega snacks for when you're actually training your pet. Win win.

wait, 06:00 so if we hatch with a pet with unlocked talent from my friend? and i hatch it, and get the talent, will it be unlocked on my pet? does it has to be unlocked on our end first?, does it work with kiosk pets? does it work that way? or is it just 2 pets with OUR pet unlocked?

If you hatch with a friend with the unlocked talent it will still be locked for you unfortunately. Same thing with the kiosk pets. You need to unlock it once on one of your pets then breed it with another of your pets, then any offspring will also have it unlocked. You have to do all the breeding with your own pets. So no matter what you will need to unlock the talents at least once yourself.

Yes, it should be unlocked in that scenario. The key is you already having an unlocked pet of your own that you use for any breeding.
