They're adding a dungeon that'll have the rest of the gear, as to why they didnt add them immediately? Time crunch, wasnt fully developed as far as Im aware. KI is a small indie company after all

I don't think you understand. The reason why some stuff is easy is because most people have full aeon gear farmed. Aeon gear was made to be used in Wallaru. So Wallaru gear exists to be used in the next world. Not everyone is willing to farm the full aeon gear. Look at it from a new playe persepctive. If you get to the final boss of Novus, you can either go to Wallaru or farm gear. The game is gonna reward you by making Wallaru much easier with Aeon gear. If you don't farm in Novus and go to Wallaru with Malistaire gear you're gonna have a tougher time.
