Health and Flat resist jewels are purchased from the jewel vendor in Telos, Lemuria. Pierce jewels are farmed from the Fortee Thieves or crafted using Turmeric from Guillermel in Caravan, Mirage. Power pip jewels are obtained most quickly by doing tournaments in PvP and then buying them from Jordo Mistborn in Unicorn Way, Wizard City. If you do not wish to do PvP, the Death Ghultures in Caravan, Mirage can also drop them along with Couch Potatoes. Grandmaster socket wrenches can be farmed from Grandfather Spider at the end of Mirage or obtained via some side quests in Empyrea. Legendary socket wrenches can only be obtained through 4 side quests in Karamelle. Chapters included if you want to skip the deck setup and just see the solo or vice versa. Enjoy the show! This has been 2 months in the making, and on this character specifically, took many hours and 18 total attempts to finally get good enough RNG to win. All while doing it with completely farmed gear that anyone can get. Hopefully this encourages others to try to solo fights too, as it makes PvE fun and challenging. The grind to get to this point in the game, the grind to make the right pets, to make gardens to make those pets, farm for gold, farming for all the socket wrenches, farming and crafting all the gear, make it all even more satisfying at the very end when you are finally able to do such a difficult fight completely on your own.

Once again Ferric proves he is one of Wiz’s Solo Gods. Can’t imagine doing this on anything other Death, Life or maybe Ice. Ngl I feel your pain. My first solo run of The Writer on Balance was ruined when he cheat beguiled me and then cheat sacrificed by taking all my health. Literally nothing I could do since the cheat takes a minion’s full health. Thankfully I had no such issues in the next run.

Not really a solo god since he most likely didn’t get dragoon gear without farming with people plus he’s on a death so it’s 10x easier not everyone has access to fans that are willing to help farm with them at any point in time

@@contentcop5375 😭You can't tell me you've watched the budget walkthrough because I legit got all my dragoon gear solo farming whispering sepulcher or using teamup during double reagents. I even linked to the vids where I got the gear and I solo farmed or farmed in ways that legit anyone can do. Also of course I'm going to do it on a death, by all means if you think it's unimpressive, solo it on a death and post it for us to see. Put your money where your mouth is. But yeah, actually missing the point of this series which is that I purposely make things difficult, when all you have to do to farm stuff is... you know... make friends? Idk. I still solo farm or use team-up most of the time. If I want to stream it though and I team-up of course viewers are going to join, otherwise I would do it off-stream and that's no fun. How can you assume I've done something when you haven't even watched the series? I even linked a comment showing every episode where I got stuff and talked about where I got it 🤡

Honestly, thought this one was impossible, a little bit after Azteca I started doing solo only after seeing your original videos. I finished Lemuria the other day and did it with a group assuming it was either impossible or would take an insane time to do it. I watched one of your streams doing this, and I'm just glad you managed it in the end. Congrats.

Appreciate it a ton! Everything seems impossible at the beginning, but with the correct method, it usually is possible. If a team can do it without fleeing, I personally believe a solo player can as well.

@@ferric The main issue I had with it is how long every attempt is. When I did titans trident, I knew fairly early on if it was a viable run or not.

@@craves7215 Yep, same with Aphrodite but at least with that battle it's the same thing for an hour, this battle you have to play slightly differently depending on what is happening and it just takes so long for each attempt and can still end at any moment if you get unlucky.

That fight can be solo but I don’t recommend it being a somewhat soloist myself cuz you won’t know what enemies will cast and used and facing eight enemies with only one wizard a good strategy is needed along with good gear setup but you never will know what enemies will use and in that fight you don’t know which group of enemies will attack first.

Yeah, but honestly the uncertainty of fights like these is part of what makes it challenging. If rng was never a factor, then it wouldn't take that long to figure out the best strategy. It is an element that makes it difficult to figure out a good strat in these fights.

Honestly I only have one question. For the level you go in, do you honestly think it's harder than Darkmoor ? Cuz God damn remember Darkmoor got through millions of nerfs and this fight will probably too.

Well to be fair, I am comparing the current iteration of Darkmoor for what level you have to do it vs the current iteration of the Heroes. There is no way for me to know how difficult it would be to solo the first iteration because I did not play the game solo back then to try it out. And yes, I do see this fight getting a nerf once Lemuria is no longer the final world because it is main content, not side content meaning players have to be able to get through it, and in the future, there will be nothing to come back to this fight to. Merciless Gear will be obsolete next year. Amazing Jewels likely will all be obsolete next year or much more easily obtained in the next world. The only reason to ever do this fight besides questing past it would be if you wanted to upgrade the spellements. The Balance one seems to have no use in PvE or PvP right now, and likely will not in the future unless it's unchanged, so most people will not try to upgrade it. Same goes for the Storm one. The Ice one is good for PvE, same with the Life one, and the Fire and Myth ones are useful in PvP too. The Death one is probably the most sought-after since it's useful in both, but yeah, who know how good these spells will be compared to future spells. The point is, not a lot of people will be returning to farm this fight when it is no longer the final world, so they will definitely have to nerf it so that it is easier to do with a smaller team.

Shrike is definitely needed. The shields become a huge problem long term and you get an extra damage boost from it as well.

@@ferric ya I was prioritizing the Lulu healback too much that I didnt even think of packing it. Also i used a different strategy by having an Ally Elemental Shield Citrine on my pet. The fire shield would get converted into a 25% universal which saved me multiple times, as well works against any school.

Nah, I soloed Tartarus with waterworks gear so that I could use blade of the felled titan and poseidon boots. I then soloed Krokopatra with that gear and got the krok hat. Then I soloed Rattlebones with all that gear and got the rattlebones robe. Then I soloed parts 1 and 2 of darkmoor with that gear and got the amulet from shane von shane (part 2 darkmoor final boss). Using all that gear, I then soloed the third instance of Darkmoor. For Catacombs, I soloed King Detritus with the previous gear that I had, and that is all you need to get every dragoon piece. I then crafted 4 pieces (hat robe boots and amulet) and soloed the first half of catacombs and soloed the second half after I soloed Karamelle using all that gear.

Not precisely 8v1, because they don't actually get 8 turns when you do 1 turn. More like 5v1 with 8 health bars to go through. Still good though.
