Wizard101: Titans Trident Death Solo | On a Budget - Day 113

It all comes down to this. Shortly after the Mount Olympus solo, I decided I would attempt every battle solo in the game, not just normal mobs and bosses, but things like Waterworks, Darkmoor, Catacombs, and now even the final boss of Empyrea. This solo was not too difficult but it was also not the easiest thing to do either.
As you will see, I do start to lose it a bit here, but I hope you enjoy it anyways! :)

@@ferric Oh yeah for sure dot is the fastest but riskiest, the people who make that argument of just using it don't take into account the high chance you have of getting enfeebled, or you dying before you can even send the dot, and on top of that, it's too much rng involved in making that work solo, when I did my solo I even tried to do the blade stack bone dragon strat and it didn't work out as well as I thought it would. Plus you're a death wizard, you have the best school passive in the game, being able to heal half of what you hit so why not use that to your advantage in this fight? I miss the days where soloing wasn't about getting it done asap. Good stuff bro, I hope I can make it to the stream where u do paradox.

@@adamzzzz6052 balance might have an easier time than most people think, instead of using steel giant, or just hitting 3 times, you should instead blade into a chimera/hydra. Big damage, all at once, and tons of available blades to use.

Didn't even factor your damage plus the unlimited 50 blades. The new math is 9 rounds. Less if you had more damage. Not to mention critical, which is about 1.5x depending on your crit multiplier

I totally get that, I was just heated in the moment, but it is also important to note that I was being told to completely change the type of strategy I should use just because I didn't know the minion would be there. I stuck with my own strategy and the second run went smoothly after I took out the minion. The strategy chat kept telling me to do involved blading for at least 10 turns (not easy to survive that long without healing and as a death without a life mastery, I have to hit to heal) and also assumed I would not get enfeebled or virulent plagued at all for those 10 rounds. It would have been an easy strategy without requiring much thinking, but it would also require a perfect run in which I somehow manage to not lose all my health and also avoid any blade removals or weaknesses. Me calling the other strategy "garbage" was uncalled for and just in the heat of the moment.

This video is from before they standardized blades to 35% Back then Death, Ice and Life had 40% blades.

Honestly storm is easy doing this fight, pack 3 scions and prisms triple blade each time and done

That's significantly easier said than done, because not only does the strategy fall apart if it casts a single blade, but the Trident often removes all traps, making even indemnity difficult to use effectively. That's not even mentioning the massive damage output the Trident has, and since you've given up all that resist to be able to do 20k with 3 blade, suddenly it's slaughtering you on round 3.

i think its good they did, you needed a coordinated team to fight this boss which is very hard for people without open/text chat and solo players, the strat needed a very very specific composition to pull off or else It'll be impossible to kill him
