Awesome video as always. These remind me a little of the ossiarch, how each unit has a special ability (command abilities w Ossiarchs, spells on these) and I think they’d be interesting to play. Once again I’m going to say how much I’m excited for the Sons of Behemat

Worth noting the Enduring as Rock ability can also be activated in any of your hero phases (the article description doesn't match the actual rule). So the stoneguard can have rend reduction for the whole game, assuming they don't use some other type of stance.

Hmm I think I am going to make my entry to Age of Sigmar with this army (I was a high elf fanboy in Fantasy) and likely this box, and paint them in Thousand Sons’ colors with their blue as the main armor color and gold trim. ... oh and in gameplay terms every unit is NOT a wizard, their codex clarifies that they must have the “wizard” keyword to actually cast spells (and no all units don’t have that keyword).

That's... a pretty good price. As for the rules, I kinda like that after the Sisters Of The Thorn and the Evocators we're getting a whole army of wizards. It's definitely a cool feature. Also that they're using the resource mechanic for this faction too is really neat. I wonder if the moral loss stacks with itself if you play Syar, that'd be super weird.

I think this is a nice way to make an army to be elite. Instead of being amazing troops they have a lot of abilities to make them better. Will be getting these guys as my first models/armies from GW was high elves

I am worried about their abilities as they do seem op and especially when you consider how they can combo into each other but I won’t know how good they are until they are used on the tabletop.

Just a pointer, I dont think lightning reactions is an aetherquartz ability, it's part of their allegiance abilities I believe. Edit: Just seen someone else point that out

Fortunately, multi-models units cast spells as a unit, otherwise it would be way too OP... and way too long to play

As if the unit stats ever made any sense at all in any faction. Bloodletters have a huge ass sword and only have 1" range.

@@UnkaStunka I think it is less power creep and more different playstyles finally emerging. both obr and lumineth appear to be very defense oriented, but the majority of AOS armies just want to charge in. Some stuff is definitely strong, but i welcome the breath of fresh air.

Honestly, I don't think the Lightning Reflexes is an aetherquartz ability. The way it's written doesn't seem to jive with the idea behind the rule to me. Did your source happen to mention the US price?

I think I'm actually going to skip this one. 110 GBP is a bit too much for me. I'll wait until the entire range releases and get them separately (I'm not really interested in the extra stuff anyway. The regular battle tome would be fine for me).

Well.....but if they are gonna be an elite army means they’re not gonna be a lot so is not gonna be easy to capture objectives so...yeah they may destroy you in combat but good luck controlling the objectives.Btw I have an maggotkin army so I know what you feel but in my case o feel that against almost every army in the game hahahaha
