What timeline tool are you using?

My main want is something akin to a giant whale or fish. I could imagine a rule for it just zucking up an entire unit by rolling a bunch of dice (roll more if its against a battle shocked unit or a unit at under half strength. Then if you're dice drop the unit to 0 it dies, if not nothing happens and they manage to hang out each other and their surroundings to resist ze zuck

I just bought the big Sylvaneth Starter Box - which Games Workshop just stopped selling; It has the huge Tree Lord (alternate parts for one of 3 versions), 16 Dryads, 4 Yithari's Guardians and one Branchwych. I havent build the Tree Lord yet. I dont really have a spare shelf for such a tall mini. Great basic kits, hopefully they'll paint up nicley

Its honestly astonishing to think that not only would GW handle the end of Fantasy as disrespectfully and incompetently as possible, HOW DO YOU NOT MAKE SURE YOUR NEW REBOOTED GAME WAS ACTUALLY GOOD?!? Like you’re already putting yourself against some really bad stigma even if the end times lore wasn’t dogshit and they figured out a way to not just delete models from purchasability, at the BARE MINIMUM, you wouldn’t as a competent company give the angry mod even more ammunition to permanently scar your new IP so to this day; people are warded off because there’s just that much stigma.

Warhammer 40k adventures also allows them to introduce the silly aspects from Rogue Trader, like bringing back the Jokaero which is still one of my favorite things from the past

Whats really wild.. at 57 find WH 40k for the first time This game has so much content that I think many of my other games over the years "Borrowed from" The time line is fantastic visual always helps me.

Age of Sigmar seems like such a weird mix of Fantasy & 40K with Norse influence. I feel like transforming so many Fantasy characters into divine beings in AoS was unnecessary. Though it is cool seeing how some people failed upwards in power.

AoS is MCU with noblebright naarative. WHFB is grimdark with self-irony and dark humour. AoS rules are fast and simple. FB rules are big and sometimes overwhelming. First is aimed at teenagers, second at more mature players. My problem with GW is that they could have kept both up and running, being FB "advanced game" while AoS entry-level arcade pseudowargame for those who don't want to wrap their heads around rules etc. But GW at around 2012-2014 decided to be a miniature producing company, not wargame one, and AoS 1e proved it - rtemeber 2-page rules with no point cost whatsoever "bring whatever you want", so WHFB had to be dropped cause old neckbeards don't bring as much money as kids and whales who are always willing to buy "new shiny stuff". So since GW abandoned my game, I abandoned GW.

Sadly 2years later and still no new models

It should be noted that regular genestealers are lighting quick and can rip even terminator armor apart and it passes to the hybrids with the fourth generation being stronger and faster than regular humans capable of even giving space marines trouble and combine that with a zealous devotion comparable to the sisters of battle they'll fight through things that regular humans would think suicidal.
