For Q14, I don't get how 4 is the answer, emotional estrangement is definitely a concern because the passage mentions how the psychology of exile is 'in'. So how is that the right answer then? Option 3 seems more appropriate, relatively.

The last few lines read - "an increasingly large proportion of the world is getting reconciled ( meaning used to) the idea of living with the labile (changing) sense of self. Exile no longer seems an affliction meaning that it's not something bad. Displacement and the psychology of exile are in; cultural continuities and settled communities are out implies that people are happy to be displaced. They don't think of it as being unsettled, rather they are not dependent on being attached to a place. All this points to the fact that they don't feel emotionally estranged. They don't feel alienated. Option 3 uses the word *eventually* implying that they do feel displaced and upset at being displaced. Happy Learning!!

In question 8, wouldn't the correct answer be 4? IT Professionals are more like to skip breakfast since they fall under the technology category of people. Kind of contradicts here. Where as in option 4, Early Risers have more sugar means in their breakfast means people who tend to be a morning person prefer to have a sugary breakfast than the night owls who prefer savoury breakfast?

Good question. The reason option 1 applies is that in the second sentence, the author says *among those who do eat breakfast*, implying that the professionals mentioned were the most likely to skip breakfast as stated but there are some who do eat breakfast. The rest of the passage is about the ones in the professions who *do* eat breakfast. If you look at option 1, it conforms to the rest of the information provided. Revisiting option 4, while i agree that cannot be entirely negated, the use of the word *regular* is probably why it is not the appropriate answer. It cannot be best inferred that they eat breakfast *daily* or *regularly*. We only know that they do eat breakfast. So the latter half of option 4 might go with the passage but not the part about regular breakfast. Happy Learning!!
