Would there be a list of the top 20 best value LEGO sets over the decades? My first thought would be the Maersk train & the first or second death star playsets, both don't come with any finicky electronics that are easily superseded, though the Maersk has specialty colors and stickers it can be easily reproduced as the Death Star can be with common bricks, both are very displayable and have play value. Just kind of wondering after listening to you guys for so long. My knowledge of a majority of LEGO sets is kind of limited.

Payday and a new A.F.o.O.L. podcast, what a day! I had a few of those Classic Space sets as a kid, but unfortunately they are long gone. I might start piecing some of them together (thanks again for helping me spend my money)! I don't think I'm going to get the new modular. I like it, but it just doesn't fit in my city. Another fun episode gents. The Galaxy Commander is a fine ship but stupidly expensive even to part together. Good luck with it Joey and Jaabo. Earl is sensibly sitting on the sidelines! I went through and scanned a load of QR codes a few weeks ago but it didn't stop me at three - will have to see if it does next time I have a go. But like Jaabo, I'm stubborn and will do it anyway 😜 Am I the only one who got mildly panicked at answering some of the maths questions?! I mean, I have a degree in Electronic Engineering - why am I sweating when asked what 81 / 9 is?! 😂

I like to say that I like watching all your videos because you are doing videos as someone who has a outside Job (not You Tube full timer) It great that you come home and pick up the camera and do a video. Jaabo videos are great I like nothing is lay out and planed out. All you guys do a great job please keep up the great work.

The 1526 was just a box mock-up, if you look closely at the picture you can see where the box is stapled together. The story goes that the guys from Brickset were in the vault and found the box and took pictures of the front and back and there are alternate builds pictured on the back.

Wow, I cant believe Lego brought back the trans-yellow 2x2 dish after 35 years! When i was finishing up my Classic Space collection those were selling for $5-$10 each. I wonder if a designer noticed the selling price and decided to add it into a new design. Hopefully they'll take notice and bring back the light gray spoked antenna and Cypress tree

6985 Cosmic Fleet Voyager. Beware Brittle Blue. So I was in this mall little town and I was walking through the grocery ma and pop store when I saw this faded box. It was for sale. The box was faded, but the box was pristine inside and the lego was all sealed. I asked about it and they gave me 20% off the sticker price. I paid something like $80 for it a few years back. Best haul ever.

I think Lego should start selling the Modulars with the inside details as a separate add on package. I will build the whole set complete then part out all the inside stuff.

Listening while making an attempt to build a train lift (inspired on Sariel's video from 9 years ago). It turns out I have about 80 gear racks in my technic sets and several in stock so no need to buy extra. I even found out I have 7 of those long technic gear racks... so no excuses for height limitation anymore. Jaabo , what if you use all 365 shirts as a poster behind you when you post the last day. Kind of like a green screen. So, you can just say “I wore a different shirt every day of the year”. That way you don’t have to do a recap. Let the picture speak for itself. 😂. 🤣

Hey guys, I had commented last time about setting up a simple 9V train layout last time under our Christmas tree and worrying about our young kids destroying it. Surprisingly, they’ve ignored it. Our oldest wants to regulate the train every once in a while, but we’ve had no issues. A more serious question, though. I’ve been organizing my Lego closet and am curious what the smallest Lego box you all have come across. I have a boxed HO scale car from ‘65 that measures a bit less than 1” X 1” X 2.5” in each dimension. It’s much smaller than any other box that I have. Are there any boxes smaller than that? I’m curious what they were used for.

For the QR codes, do you think the majority of people use that for points, or just to get digital instructions? For AFOL's yes, our initial use for the QR is points, but maybe we are in the minority?
