To be considered Legally Competent, one must know the difference between right and wrong and the difference between the truth and a lie. Jenn understands those differences. She lied on her written statement. During the interrogations, she repeatedly contradicted herself and gave lame excuses for doing so. The detectives aren't about to fall for her act. I'm just waiting for charges to be brought against her.

when the cop informed Jenn that they knew that there was SA -because they have photos; Jenn replied quietly "okay". she knew there were pictures. and they might be obtained. she knew what was happening in the pictures. she wanted to see a picture to know what to tell SS. she asks "is SS being arrest because of the pictures?" because if it was because of something SHE said, SS might think she broke the pact and rat her out. imo
