Who knows what this officer prevented!! That young guy was up to no good!! #1. He went to a mall far away from where he lives, because he wanted to "find a different mall" to hang out at or whatever. #2. He approached little girls. The cop said "children". It was more than obvious to the cop they were underage. #3. He had liquor, and was intoxicated. A jar of weed. Maybe he was going to invite the girls to hang out and drink & smoke with him. #4. He had a gun. All of that looks shady as f**k!!! This kid had evil in him. Instead of just running, he decided to shoot at a cop. Even if he succeeded in killing him, he would of been caught. They had already ran his name, plus the BWC footage, and CCTV footage all over the mall.

Great aim. That kid was nervous from the start. He didn’t care about all that other stuff. He was afraid they’d find that gun. The sad part was he pleaded with the first officer not to search him. I knew it would go all wrong from there. I will say to Orlando police, PLEASE place your bodycams higher on your body! Your arms get in the view of what the camera is there to capture. Also you can not get a clear look at anyone speaking to the officer unless the officer backs away from the subject by a great distance. The cams are there for a reason. Not to have their view obscured by an arm or other objects.

I agree with everything you said, except the officer didn’t shoot him, he shot himself, that was the gun shot you heard before the officer started shooting thinking he was shooting at him. Thank goodness no one else was harmed during all of that….

@@flogoph13 they haven’t released any of this info so where are getting it from?!!🤔 I’ve checked everywhere and can’t find them stating any of what you claim during any press conference. It would be law enforcement that would release that. Medical examiners usually don’t do press conferences unless requested!

@@paulcunningham8802 It was local report, saying that injury was consistence with a self inflicted gun shot, secondly to Slate13 he did shot at the officer total of 3 times watch again, hear the rounds striking.

5:01 he said yeah this is me he shot me (the windshield) but at 2:15 you see that the officer shoots his own windshield, also the “official” narrative is that the man committed suicide at the scene BUT at 4:15 he states that he shot him.

As a officer. He should’ve removed the man from the mall as soon as he encountered him and found alcohol and was asking young girls. When he said you’re free to go outside the mall that should’ve been the end of it. The bag was closed you asked to search him he said no. The correct thing to do would have been to take the bag from him when he was in the mall. Just my opinion.

...why would he risk escalating the situation inside the mall? Do you not realize how many more people would've been caught in the crossfire? He did exactly what he should've done by taking him outside first before doing anything more. Also he did say no to a search but was still openly showing the jar of weed. Kid just said and did the wrong things tbh, cause he very well could've gotten off scot-free if he didn't make such stupid decisions
