I was on a lead when I was a kid. I was a little shit, I whould run off like I was fleeing a gang of gibbons. Leads are a requirement for some kids. Growing up autistic, my dad yelling at me didn't do anything. Its a shock to me that more people don't use them.

@@KILLER9639 As a person who has worked with kids for over ten years (numerous on the spectrum), I have never had a kid that ran off like that or needed to be kept on a damn lead, as long as I paid attention. As long as you pay attention, it shouldn't be necessary, except in very, very rare cases. Obviously there are exceptions, but I'm damn glad more people don't use them because in almost every case it would just be a sign of laziness.

All im saying is it is definitely not "laziness" keeping a kid on a lead. Like I said I was a little shit and didn't listen. I can guarantee hundreds of people working in the same occupation you do and would completely disagree. Keeping kids on leads shouldn't be seen as a negative or "bad parenting". Obviously if they are older its something to consider but if a child is very young and doesn't know any better it shouldn't be frowned upon. After all, Kids are fucking stupid.

A podcast, as such, it supposed to be entertainment, so, if it were filled with "excuse me"'s and "you're welcome"'s, it may not be as entertaining. If a joke or something means a perfect form of civility cannot be maintained then I accept it. That is not, at all, to say I want to see podcast guests be needlessly rude to each other, but, just that I recognise an episode has entertainment as priority one.
