Nice video man, i really dig the cage look on that buggy and it scoots pretty good too. I use that same transmitter on my nitro/zorro its great for the price since you can get good distance out of it.

Looks badass with those tires and no shell panels! Awesome vid! I have the 124016v2. I upgraded to the aluminum kit. Replaced all the arms and the knuckles for now. Put slightly larger tires, phone filled. 2s insanely fast and so much fun. Also congrats on passing 1k subs!

@@ChiefRickyRC I can say nothing really breaks anymore lol, it rolls and flips and everything good. I don’t jump it however. I would look for a aftermarket plastic bumper as that seems to save its don’t do the alloy one lol, I did and the screws broke in it after one hit (son jumped it off a 7 foot embankment lol.

First off Ricky, that buggy looks epically Insane in the buff with all the panels off! Good choice to leave them off! 2nd, great choice to go with a 3660 to fill the void of the old 550. Super linear motors. I’m betting you still had more in it even at that blazing 61mph! Is there enough range and road to fully top this out with out losing control? I can’t believe you were able to keep that thing connected to the road with out losing crashing it! Good job there🙌🏼. Only a missing wheel nut😝, minor! All I know is that is one bad ass buggy Ricky! I’m impressed!

Thanks so much Robby 🙏 3650 tho man you know a Rocket 3660 4300kv like the Nitro gots would be the baddest motor i can think of. Could do a larger pinion and Ive seen 124019s with Mod1 gears. Very similar to your Rlaarlo

Was able to get the pinion and motor mount off my 124019 when I did an F540 swap. Torched tf out of it, haha. Had a spare mount and pinion but I'm cheap and wanted to save it for another build, haha. 3300kv with 60a it managed 55mph on a 70c 1800mah cnhl with bigger than stock tires. Edit: 3s battery Lost that same screw on the front yesterday. I was racing a truck from a stoplight on a wide sidewalk. Had a bus length on him when the 124019 started going all weird, lol.

Yes the size and spec and needs a brushless style motor. There's brush and brushless power systems. Good rabbit hole to start learning is search, brush vs brushless

This one is tricky. Easy to fit big motor, but big motor needs big ESC. I'm using a Surpass hobby 3650 6900kv motor and spektrum firma 120amp ESC. I'm showing the build video here probably this week. It's been a year long build I've been so busy with all the other rcs. It would be easier for you to get the WL-Toys 124017 and a 2000mah 3s lipo battery with deans Tplug. You will have a similar result as my rc here

Off course you cant get straight, too much wind entering the body make it unstable.. mine got top speed at 103km/h. But that is not an achievement i think..😮

Thank you, yup bro it was hell trying to go straight, but Im not done yet. Im gonna try a different set of tires and 30mm wide all around instead of staggered. I think Im gonna just send it next time and hope the 4x4 gets a good speed before crashing.
