Please get the metal shock towers that will fit on this for one of the other WLtoys models, when you hit something with the plastic towers on anything it breaks in half exactly where it is attached to the diff housing.

Hello. good test. unfortunately my english is not that good. I think it's good that you're testing it on gravel. I have in mind that the car is very imprecise. 7 years ago I had a Virus 4.0 buggy with which you could drift really well on gravel. Unfortunately, the esc burned out on me with 4s lipo. then i sold it. Best regards.

Does it do 60km/h out of the box? It says 3S on it but is the battery 3S? I am new and I don’t understand.

The included battery is indeed a 3S battery. I didn’t do a speed test in this video but yes it is capable of 60km/h using the included 3S battery .

Largest battery that will fit is 11cm long x 3.5cm wide x 3cm high. Not much space. You can take off holder that holds the battery lead and it will use a deans plug. 3s is much more fun than 2s Hope this helps .

Hello, mine only has 4 lipos, no shock, no jumps and the back dogbone came out of place and roughened the mouth of the cup, apparently they come short since the pins that go inside the cup when they are horizontal go a little outside but when they are vertical one of them comes out of the cup... And that was the problem,.. You've noticed that... Has something similar happened to you ?

VERY well done. The skinny battery tray doesn't help. On all of the recent WLToys vehicles, the steering is VERY touchy especially when trying to go in a straight line. This one seems a lot better. Another reviewer used an Ovonics 3S battery. It seemed to fit quite well.

This video shows only half the abuse it took that day. So yes it is quite durable. I havnt tried the MJX however. However at 1:12 scale it’ll drive better than a 1:16 …

I would say 124008. With the updated plastic chassis and much thicker dogbones / CVD the124008 can take a hell of a beating. The added plastic skirts to keep the body in also helps protect the body and keeps more dirt out from getting inside.

I just received this car I bought after looking at all the enthusiastic reviews. Sadly the first impressions are not in line with the expectations. In particular I find the throttle response incredibly bad with huge deadzone in both driving and braking directions. Around 50% of the full stroke has no effect and the torque modulation happens in a short amount of travel making fine control impossible. All my other RC cars are brushed so maybe I'm expecting too much from a cheap brushless esc, but at the moment I'm pretty disappointed. It's a shame as in every other aspect the car is magnificent and overall quality is better than expected.

The battery bay is really the deal breaker. Unless they come out with a mod for a battery strip to fit my own batteries, else will never buy this car. Also the arms are still the same ones used on 144010, 124017, etc, which is why..
