WLtoys V950 unboxing and 1st flights

this is my unboxing and 1st flights of the wltoys v950. it runs on a 3 cell 1500mah lipo and is kinda 250 size. - i got this to start practicing inverted circuits.

I have , 2each of(v911,v977 , v915, and v950, all are to me great helicopters FOR THE MONEY, they can't be beat in my opinion , the. Work and fly great , parts are plentiful and inexpensive , an I see so many other reviews from other people,( not you , your great btw) that slam this v950 heli, oh the tail is weak blah blah blah, the punch isn't fast enough, oh my, grow up , heck you kidding me , when I was young all I had was Gumby and a BB gun , this product is fantastic, wltoys , I give 100 thumbs up guys, you make a great product that so many people could afford , oh one more thing , that yoyo effect we get with this heli can be tammed by clicking down throttle trim 6 to 8 times, easyer to manage til you get use to her, have a great day, keep up your great reviews, love the doggies

Funny your dogs are really getting into it, one is taking a nap. The other is chewing on the box wrapper. Then your other dogs have to investigate the matter too by smelling it. Nice review but do your dogs approve?😀😱

Same here on a former e sky ,but after one minor hover crash it went in the garbage.Was not able to fly, but purchased a vl 912, good flyer.

It's too bad it does not fly better. I like WLTOYS and have a lot of their products. And it's a great looking heli. Maybe they will correct the problem. First time I have ran across one of your videos. Very informative and well done video. I will subscribe. Thank you so much. HAPPY FLYNG!!

The only problem were those talked about in the video. I did go ahead and get this heli. I only fly in 6G stable mode and no acrobatics. Great buy for the money. Crashed once and have to replace a stripped servo and rotor head. Buy extra parts if you buy. I have been flying the v911 and wanted something to fly in light wind and have a little more power. I was going to buy the B/L v912 but the v950 was only $30 more and I also wanted the v977, so I figured with the v950 I got B/L and 6ch for about $100. I couldn't pass on the great value I assume the v950 offers.

If you check the servo travel(with TH on) while moving your pitch slowly on your TX you will see that there is a lag in input. Check the RCGroups.com forum. They suggested to change the servos and I am going to try that out. Other than that this heli is definitely bang for buck!

I'm looking to purchase this helicopter but I don't plan to fly in 3D mode..... will everything be okay out the box or do I have to purchase extras thanks :)

i really can't recommend this heli, after some more testing the issue of the inconsistent pitch control is worst in normal mode. it's a shame as it ruins an otherwise good little heli. i would suggest the smaller but better v977 until they fix this issue.

Harry Bunn yes I've heard alot of people speak any this problem I'm just sick and tired of 3 channel I really want to try a 4 channel helicopter.... are there any you recommend?

I want one just to play around with. Crash this thing up I wouldn’t cry as much as my more expensive heli.
