@@Remy4300 Rizzoli and Isles is where i both discovered and fell in love with Angie Harmon. Loved that show and had to take a short break from it when Frost died. No other character death on a tv show affected me like his. Update. Another character death has shaken me at the same level as Frosts,.. Sweets from Bones. Gotta love tv shows that are written, produced and performed so well that the death of a fictional character can have a true emotional impact.

I agree. I just started watching it on KZbin and I love it. Reminds me of the British show Murder in Suburbia (2004/2005) with two young female detectives, a blond and a brunette, same issues with boyfriends, etc. But great detectives and very good story lines. It only lasted two seasons.

She done an interview with Conan I believe and he was asking what projects she wished lasted longer and she mentioned this one. When he asked her what happened she mentioned being under contract for a different project and then went on to talk about R&I. So, I assumed the two topics were connected.

Agree 100%, the man that gunned my Father down was an escaped murderer from Montana, where he murdered another person stole several firearms from him, then fled the state. When he reached Oregon, he kidnapped and severely beat the Chief of Police of Harrisburg leaving him unconscious and for dead in a roadside ditch. He kidnapped and pistol whipped an elderly store owner and left her for dead, stealing her car and robbing the store. When he got to our small town, Brownsville, he was double parked in front of the bank, my Dad, the C.o.P of our town, pulled up beside him to tell him he could not park there. He took off, nearly running an elderly couple down that were crossing the street. Dad and a State Trooper pursued him, until he ran off the road, he then bailed out and ran. When Dad yelled at him to stop, he turned and started shooting at Dad. He hit Dad in the head, thank God, Dad survived the wound, but it greatly changed him, personality wise. R. A. Hunt received only seven years for all the mayhem he caused during his attempted run for freedom, he was out in five. I was only 8 y\o back on 24 March 1959 when the big State Trooper walked into my 1st grade classroom to take me home. I have nightmares about that day on the nights that I do not have nightmares of my last combat tour. Having PTSD sucks. Right now, I am awake because of those nightmares, it is fast approaching the anniversary of that shooting and combat tour.

All those shows are British. Remember Perry Mason, Lieutenant Columbo, and Murder she wrote? No private lives nor drama. I prefer no drama but many shows that I enjoy have the "personal" side included. I've asked myself the same question you ask, many times.
