That lie that Caitlin Clark without marketing, media, propaganda, hype, would have done so much for women's basketball just by her play alone . No one at anytime has said Caitlin doesn't have potential and didn't deserve to be the number one draft choice. The other great players(Black&White) who were not given the hype and MONEY that untested Clark got are griping against a racist media promoting a white hope.

Saying that taking Caitlyn would’ve made a mockery of the women’s game, I honestly think not picking her made a mockery of it. I don’t see how they couldn’t of decided to take the sacrifice and make the leap in order to make this work because women have been stylizing themselves as victims behind this entire thing of nobody wants to support the W, and then when they get an opportunity to game to support, they don’t run to it. That’s like a person telling you how much they want to get a gig to be able to support themselves in their family, and then they get a perfect layup of a gig and they don’t want to take it.

I’m glad Shannon and SAS didn’t get off their necks. It made 0 sense to leave her out the Olympic team and it sure as heck looks worse now. Averaging 16 points before the Olympics yet they took guards who averaged 5-6 points? Can’t even average half her assists? Sure sure talent was the problem

I honestly stopped watching First Take for a while after that blowup between McNutt and Carter. I would be happy if I never saw them on the show again. It ruins the show and sports media. I'm sure its in the name of DE coming from ESPN. There has to be better qualified people to bring on the show . They just stir up trouble and are not looking at a player like Clark from an unbiased viewpoint. This whole segment was awkward and I'm glad Stephen A and Shannon called them out on their crap.
