Those rookies you listed play for terrible teams. Although Pili ideally would be given opportunity to develop, the Lynx are trying to win now. They can’t afford to give rookies space to make mistakes and grow. Whose minutes are you giving to Pili?

@@sharksandwich5834 When Pilli was given Starter Minutes, she balled out. Period. The Lynx can't afford to NOT give Alissa Pilli more minutes. Because they will Need her in the playoffs. But the way they are currently using her, too much Rust will have set in.

@@natureredux1957 she was never given “starter minutes.” She played 15 minutes in the one game (no other game did she play more than 10 minutes). She scored 20 that game in an incredibly small sample size, and many of those points were in garbage time. I think she has talent and upside, but let’s not pretend like she’s a proven star. Like all rookies, she would go through struggles with extended playing time. Again, they can’t afford that right now. And what makes you think they need her this year for the playoffs? They have incredible depth right now (the best in the league probably) not counting Pili, and that depth becomes less important in the playoffs when rotations shrink. They might need her long term, but they’re better right now without having her in an expanded role. It’s almost as if Cheryl Reeve, the best coach in league history, knows what she’s doing.

Offense was ass all around but look out America! Hoops has returned in the land of the lakes. Got AE leading a pack of dogs & these lynx starting out the season lookin like the Moore-Fowles dynasty of yester-decade. They legit knock off either the Aces or Liberty this post-season
