Now this is a game. Damn I dunno what others are smoking but the WNBA has always been fun to watch. People just want flare and hype but I'm the type of fan who enjoys even the most basic kind of basketball. Awesome job by both teams.

As much as i agree that they got skills, in the end professional basketball is an entertainment industry. And most people are entertained by flare, hype, and dunks. I truly believe if WNBA wants to have the same success as NBA they should lower the rim to allow for dunks. While this may mess up their layups and shooting, they are professionals and I believe they will be able to adjust quickly.

Not all games are like this though, in the NBA you regularly always get good competition entertaining competitions even for the bad teams but in the wnba you will only get this type of showing by the best of the best teams playing

This series SHOULD have been the Finals as both squads played amazingly. I was at both Phoenix home games and it was just as thrilling in person. That run of Sue’s in the 4th of game 5 is why she will go down as one of the all time greats....even as a Mercury fan I’ll give credit where credit is due.

So a repeat of Seattle Sonics 1979. They had to beat Phoenix in an elimination game at home to win the Western Conference, then beat Washington 4-1, winning the title at DC. The Seattle Storm did the same this year, to the same opposing municipalities (except the final was 3-0 rather than 4-1).

Watched it again and I'm sorry but when this many Huskies play and on opposite teams to boot, I don't care who wins, I'm happy for them all. Uconn can put out some players in the WNBA! D3, Sue, Breanna, Maya, Tina, Lobo.....Vols too. Makes me miss that UT/UConn rivalry even more.
