I don't know all the details but a lot of times if a "Will" is not written, it depends on who's name is on the insurance policy. It seems that son's name is not on the policy. A Funeral Home does not do anything to the body because of lawsuits until they speak to the person on the policy.

Regardless of what the public think, his son has the right being the closest relative. Why the son wanted the body in Saginaw it doesn't state. With no will in place, it just began. Legal fees, retainer fees, hourly fees will accumulate as with the hourly fees. It will be tied up until after it plays out in court. I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But! With lawyers involved it's the beginning. Especially after the body was dressed against a court order to stop 🛑 planning stage until settled in court. I hope no damage was done if he was out of the freezer too long to go back in after so long. This doesn't look good at all. Not at all. The councilman fought for the city and citizens of Flint. The family is fighting after he's gone. It seems as if it's in their blood. I'm not disrespectful at all.
