I just tried the demo and I'm enjoying it. I had trouble beating the 1st boss 2nd phase so I had to keep going back to grind until I finally beat him. I'll be getting the full game later on.

Yeah. Thats the only downfall for me. But honestly Nioh 1&2 had same issues and once you play through game several times there's no fresh enemies. So its kinda whatever. But more variety in games is always nice.

I agree. This is the most accessible soulslike. However, you will still need some patience as you spend time in the tutorial level. Take your sweet time in the tutorial and you will truly appreciate the rest of the game.

The two demo levels were way too corridor-like, tho the bosses are the stars of the show. Overall it was fun and hopefully later zones are more DS3-like and less DS2-like/

THIS RIGHT HERE. I tried with Nioh 2, and really like certain aspects of it. But after pouring hours and hours into sorting through loot, I realized I was wasting my time and dropped the game about half way through. Too bad this game does it too, but I guess some people like this kinda stuff 😮‍💨

Finding a cool weapon in a souls game is a really good feeling. Finding weapon #83 in Nioh with 3.7% Ki Pulse makes me not care about any loot at all. It’s a really weird choice. I’m sure some people love it though.

This is actually a dialect thing depending on where you're from, at least in the US. I believe it's sort of an "East vs West" split; on the west coast we say straight, on the east coast they say shtraight. So yeah, I hear where you're coming from as it does sound weird to me as well, but it's not actually wrong.
