One tip is that the hammers have a super quick hit if you do a light attack right after a sprint or dodge.

The menu's are the hardest boss in this game. Team ninja just keeps getting worse at the inventory management and menu system screens. What a clustered mess!!!

With my boss guides I try to find the easiest way I can for the average person, so I basically do trial and error on a variety of different things to see how each one plays out and then I pick the one I think is the easiest to replicate for most people. Takes a bit of time but hopefully it makes my guides more useful. That's the idea anyway.

Would prefer to see the strategies for solo fights rather than with companions, they trivialize too many boss mechanics IMO. You can send them home with the willow branch item

Dude ur lvl 25 in this fight ur the boss for him but am 18 lvl

That's not your level, that's your Morale. If yours is 18 then you missed two flags in the map before getting to the boss, otherwise you'd start with a minimum of 20. The map is designed for your Morale to be 20 by the time you get to the boss. Since the boss' starting Morale is 18, you should always be higher than the boss except for when the boss summons minions (which add 9 to its Morale). Kill the minions and the boss will go back down to 18. Die yourself and your Fortitude rank will keep your Morale at 20 when you try again.
