Okay so after testing your halberd is only like 60-80AR less than me with a hammer which is rediculous... My martial arts are hitting harder but it is close and where is see a huge differance is fatal strike and tankyness.... my fatal strikes are going to the 4-5k region depending on enemy etc.. however fire spells are way more damaging than earth. These are the 2 best melee builds in the game. Sea split and iron calf are hard to determine because sea split is only on hammers and iron calf only on halberd. Sea split hits harder but only because of the AR from the hammer i believe

Man i remember that mission from dynasty warriors so well. must be 20 years or so, my 14 year old I trying to beat Lu bu when you were not supposed to was so much fun. Thanks for the build man I really enjoy it.

Such a awsome intro for lu bu exactly how it was first meeting him in dynasty warriors 3 and to todays games its actually reason i got wo long because big dynasty warriors fan lu bu and diao chan my favourites damn the memories never attack diao chan what ever u do or u might as hell kill your self now then have lu bu gunning 4 u and his awsome red hare horse which on dw6 was nightmare of a grind lol

Love this was looking around for builds with Lu Bu's weapon but couldn't find any and made my own, since I too was traumatized by him when I used to play Dynasty Warriors way back on the PS2 and he'd challenge you to a one on one only to die and restart the whole mission. I did something different with mine though I went with the General of Man set got the full set bonus with one of my armor pieces with the mitigation and then run his Halberd and Bow since it was always his normal attacks that would chunk you and never really a Musou attack/martial art. Might give that melee attack embed a shot though great build as well 😊

I love the game but hate what they did to lu bu.....he was a good guy who compromised himself to save the people of the land...they killed him off like nothing but liu bei and xiahou dun got transformed into demons and then got their humanity back and lived how is that right...lu bu had no evil in his heart...his will alone should have kept him from dying...liu bei and xiahou dun needed people to snap them back...lu bu sister was there and should have be enough to bring him life since he did what he did to protect her above all

First phase attack and second phase defend. Whole point is to unlock your divine beast so deflecting during the second phase will unlock it

@mysteriousone5978 don’t begin with the first attack, it’s too slow as I state in the video by it being the only weakness for the weapon. Start out with the run attack & mainly use counterattacks

How do you make the flames appear when you use the main martial arts? It does it sometimes when I use it but I don't know the qualifications for it

Your spirit must be in the positive (Blue) then it will always imbue your weapon with 🔥

It stacks with the amount of flame attack power on the build along with the Burn accumulation. Not sure about if it’s related to the martial art attack. I’m assuming it does

This build is good but quite risky because of the slow speed attack and recovery time of hallberd. I don't regret this build !

@@iDentityUS yes and thinking about it, you already get elemental weapon from high spirit prancing dragon, damage bonus (flame attack power) would make the halberd do more base damage

I would’ve gone for this build but then INSTANTLY changed my mind after every single time I try to farm his gear I don’t even get a 4, 3 or 2 star armor. I get a pathetic measly 1 star armor.
